When a female pilot is accused of negligence after her flight crashes, Bull and his team come up against some gender biases.- Amoral Attorney: The lawyer provided by the airline is actually being paid to convince the pilot to accept blame for the crash.
- Mistaken for Cheating: At one point, it's argued that the female pilot was having a tryst with her co-pilot that impacted her abilities, but it turns out the co-pilot was dating a different woman.
- Title Drop: The woman in 8D refers to the woman the copilot was seeing.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Towards the end, the female pilot considers giving up because she's second-guessing herself, but Bull convinces her to relive the crash in a simulator and continue fighting for her goals.
