Danny seeks to adopt his niece after his sister is again arrested for drug possession. Scott finds an interesting way to teach Shakespeare to the Dungeon students. A record producer wants to hire Aisha.

  • All for Nothing: Everything Fields recommended Winslow do to prevent budget cuts ends up being this.
  • Heroic BSoD: Daryl's death leads Scott to resign. Scott tries to paint it as a Heroic Sacrifice to save the Dungeon from budget cuts.
  • It's All About Me: Scott confronts Steven about prospective cuts to the Dungeon, even asking if it's a personal attack leveled against him. This prompts a heated argument between the two principals.
  • Pretty Fly for a White Guy: Scott tries "Black rapper" jargon.
  • Rage Breaking Point: All of the tension between Steven and Scott finally comes out in an intense argument.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Steven and Scott do this a handful of times during their dispute.
  • Tantrum Throwing: A variation. Steven violently slides a binder across his desk in Scott's direction at the end of their argument.
    Steven: [slams the binder down on his desk] We are cutting from the bone here, Scott! The bone! [throws the binder across the office] You tell me what to cut! How 'bout that?!
