When Blaze's tires get popped during the Race to Lava Island, Gabby gives him special tires called Power Tires, which can change into anything to help him stay on track.
Tropes:
- Beyond the Impossible: Blaze using the Power Tires to drive through lava.
- Didn't Think This Through: Crusher completely forgot the flaws in his cheating is that Blaze has Power Tires now, which can change their appearance to get right past the obstacle.
- Loophole Abuse: Near the end when lava breaks the bridge to Lava Island, it seems like Blaze cannot cross; but then he remembers his Power Tires and uses them to drive through the lava and pass Crusher for the win.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Taken up to eleven here — ALL of Crusher's cheats are what inspire Blaze to use his Power Tires to get past them.
- Rule of Three: Blaze has to pass three different obstacles, all with three attempts to get past.

- Blaze falls down a hill and crashes into the cactus like how Lightning McQueen did.
