Honey and Globby feel bad for quarantined Nega-Globby, and the team decide to let him out.
Tropes in this episode:
- Berserk Button: For Nega-Globby it's calling it an ATM machine, since the M already stands for machine.
- Birds of a Feather: Freddy figures that Nega-Globby will be happy if they leave him with Richardson Mole, since they're both insufferable know-it-alls. It works; they bond even while trying to one-up each other.
- Character Catchphrase: For Nega-Globby it's "well, actually..."
- Cry for the Devil: In-Universe; the plot kicks off with the team (mainly Honey Lemon and Globby himself) letting Nega-Globby out of the Glob-Vac, because they feel bad for him being trapped inside.
- Everything's Better with Sparkles: Honey Lemon made the brain for Nega-Globby with glitter. When Hiro jokes that the chip he made didn't have any glitter, Honey remedies that.
- Fake-Out Opening: At first the opening appears to be a flashback to when Nega-Globby was captured, but that is revealed to be a nightmare when each member of Big Hero 6 turns into Nega-Globby and Globby finds himself trapped inside the Glob-Vac.
- Insufferable Genius: The brain Hiro installed in Nega-Globby may make him smarter and more civilized, but it also makes him an obnoxious know-it-all who keeps correcting everyone. Sometimes rightly, and sometimes about things that are just personal preference.
- Running Gag:
- GoGo's solution to Nega Globby being her pulling up the globby vac. Though Nega Globby gets so annoying that even Baymax suggests the Globby Vac.
- Or it was Baymax being Literal-Minded about "All options are on the table" so he put the vac back on the table.
