It's Picture Day at Damian's school, and he's determined to get a good picture. Unfortunately, disaster lurks around every corner. Can Damian remain photo-ready until he reaches school?
Tropes:
- All for Nothing: Damian gets to school without ruining his hair...only for a random kid to trip on his shoelaces and spray water all over Damian's uniform and (more importantly) his head.
- Annoying Younger Sibling: Inverted; Damian is the youngest, but he's annoyed by the older Duke and Cassandra while trying to get to school without ruining his hair.
- Improvised Weapon:
- When Dick walks in on Damian intensely focused on grooming his hair into exactly the right formation, he asks jokingly if he's planning on making the comb his new weapon.
- When Duke tries to roll down the window, Damian throws a doughnut like it's a shuriken.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Damian doesn't usually get super-focused over anything but training (something Dick lampshades), which indicates how important he finds it to take an "acceptable" photo for his father.
- Nobody Touches the Hair: A single-episode variation; Damian doesn't usually fuss over his hair, but it's class picture day and he wants to have a photo his father can be proud to display. He spends a long time getting it just right and takes drastic measures to make sure it stays that way until he can reach school, even smacking Duke with a doughnut when he tries to open the car window.
- Not So Above It All:
- Cass likes to do ballet while she's eating breakfast.
- Damian admits that he wanted Bruce to have a nice photo of him, which is why he was so dedicated to looking nice for Picture Day.
- Platonic Declaration of Love: When Damian explains why he wanted the picture to be perfect, Bruce reassures him that any photo of Damian will be display-worthy in his eyes. Damian says that he's becoming sentimental in his older years and Bruce answers, "Love you too, son."
- Unsound Effect: When Damian grabs his satchel, the comic uses "snatch!" as a "sound effect".
