In this three-part special, Ginger is one of five kids in the country chosen to attend the prestigious Avalanche Arts Academy for an entire semester, but while she's gone, Miranda and Mipsy team up with the latter's cousin to make sure Ginger stays full time.
Meanwhile, Carl and Hoodsey use their classmate Noelle's telekinesis to enter the Weird Human Winter Fest.

- Becoming the Mask: While Thea was deceiving Ginger (to the point of even wearing a wig), she admits that she actually did come to like her and to a degree did feel guilty about the deception, and may have legitimately wanted Ginger to stay.
- Belated Love Epiphany: It's only after Ginger leaves for Avalanche Arts Academy that Darren realizes he's in love with her.
- Big Damn Kiss: We get two in this special.
- Noelle gives one of these to Hoodsey to make him sound more manly, and it works. "Hello, children", indeed.
- Ginger and Darren after the latter's Love Confession. Their first kiss is so powerful it briefly knocks them out of their senses.
- Ironic Echo: Miranda sends an out of context photo of Courtney, Macie and Dodie together to Ginger with the message "Your best friend has moved on, so why don't you?" written on it in an attempt to dissuade her from coming back. When the trio finds out about this, they all start planning to get Ginger back, but as they're doing so Courtney gets a call from Miranda. Courtney's response to this is calmly answering the phone and venomously spitting Miranda's words right back at her before hanging up.
- Oh, Crap!: This is Miranda's reaction to Courtney's Ironic Echo, realizing that her and Mipsy's plan has been found out and is about to completely fall apart.Miranda: ...she totally knows.
