Tired of his son acting childish by playing with toys and using his imagination, Stan takes Steve to Mexico to make a man out of him by having sex with a prostitute, but the trip turns deadly when they get abducted by drug runners. Meanwhile, Roger sets out to steal a rare bottle of wine that Greg and Terry bought from a French wine shop.

- After all the effort Roger puts in to get the right wine for him and Francine to share the steaks with (to the point of setting up a housewide Rube Goldberg device), he has another device set up to incapacitate Francine and just takes both steaks himself, revealing that was his plan the whole time.
- Stan's plot to help Steve lose his virginity ends with him folding and allowing his immature habits, and Steve is still as much a virgin as ever, rendering their trip pointless.
- Didn't Think This Through: One would think, considering the whole point of the endeavor is to make sure Steve becomes a man from it, Stan would do everything he can to make sure it's the most positive and memorable experience — or better yet, teach him to become enough of a man to pick up a woman himself. Instead, Stan immediately decides to take him to Mexico and pick the sleaziest whorehouses possible. Even if Steve had gotten laid there, it's entirely possible the whole negative experience of getting there would, if anything, turn him off from intercourse and send him further into his immature habits.
- Fan Disservice: The first prostitute Stan and Steve visit is obese and disfigured.Stan: I don't know what the plan was for that tortilla.
- Insane Troll Logic: With some advice from Klaus, Stan believes the best way to get Steve off of toys is to have the latter lose his virginity... to a Mexican prostitute.
- Instantly Proven Wrong: Stan has hopes that the third house will be "just right"note ... only for that to be terrible as well.
