Haida finds a small time job to keep himself stable while he is living with Retsuko. An unexpected gift from his co-workers leads him to some time together with Tadano.
Meanwhile, a strange man is looking for Retsuko, only to have a serious misunderstanding with the OTMGirls. What exactly does he want with the red panda?
Tropes:
- Bittersweet Ending: While Haida is becoming more stable with his new job at the grocery store, he learns that his internet cafe friends haven't been seen since he left. What's more, he receives a call from his brother Jiro that their father is summoning him for answers on why he left his old job.
- Brick Joke: A group of old ladies hand Haida box of persimmons to take home. After failing to pass it on to his old co-workers, it turns out Tadano loves the fruits.
- Everybody Knew Already: Jiro contacts Haida and guesses that he left his old job.
- Not Helping Your Case: A suspicious old man spends the entire episode searching for Retsuko, but his mannerisms make him look like a creepy stalker, even though he insists he is not.
- We Are Not Going Through That Again: The OTMGirls still take part in the handshake tickets program. That said, after the stalker incident in Season 3 almost got Retsuko killed and driven her away, they along with Hyodo and their fans, especially the most hardcore ones, are better prepared in case they run into someone giving off that similar unnerving atmosphere.
- Whatever Happened to the Mouse?: While showing Tadano the internet cafe he crashed at, he tries to find Shikabane and Dokachin, who had helped him out. Dokachin is said to have suffered a hip injury at work while Shikabane disappeared. At the moment, neither has been seen in the cafe since.
