Basic Trope: A superpowered character believes that superpowered people are inherently superior to normal humans and wants to oppress or kill them.

  • Straight: Emperor Evulz believes superpowered people deserve to naturally rule over ordinary humans, and wants to create a society in which this is so.
  • Exaggerated: Evulz wants to kill all non-powered humans because they believe they are obsolete.
  • Downplayed:
    • Evulz is prejudiced and patronizing towards non-powered humans, but it doesn't reach the point of violence.
    • Captain Hero defends the masses because he feels superhumans like him need to keep an eye out for the Muggles who are too weak to do it themselves, and subconsciously puts himself above others as a paternalistic Smug Super.
  • Justified: Evulz had been exposed to prejudice from normal humans, and decided that superpowered people would be better leaders of the world.
    • A significant number of superpowers would permit direction of the economy to the extent that, if they had control, they could easily solve world hunger and Evulz wants to give them the necessary political power to make it happen.
  • Inverted: Evulz sees superpowers as a curse and wants to eliminate them from the world.
  • Subverted: Evulz seems to be motivated by the supposed superiority of superpowered people, but it later turns out he is motivated by his own selfish ambition, and he is nothing but a hypocrite.
  • Double Subverted: In spite of his selfishness and hypocrisy, Evulz is ultimately mainly interested in having superpowered people rule the world.
  • Parodied: Emperor Evulz insists all Neo-Humans are the "next stage of human evolution"- despite the fact they all have really lame powers, like shedding all their hair or growing eyeballs on their tongues.
  • Zig-Zagged: Evulz has a confusing motivation that flucuates between super supremacism and other motivations.
  • Averted:
    • Evulz does not believe superpowered people are superior to non-powered people.
    • There's no superpowered people in the story.
  • Enforced: The execs want to make a point about prejudice, but need to work in superpowers somehow.
  • Lampshaded: "You act all righteous, but Super-Morality clearly isn't one of your powers!"
  • Invoked: The Corrupter suggests to Evulz that his powers mean he should be able to rule the world.
  • Exploited: Given Emperor Evulz's firm stance on Neo-Humans' superiority, it is pretty easy for Ballistics Bob to deceive his way right into Emperor Evulz' headquarters.
  • Defied: A good influence on Evulz helps him see that superpowered humans and normal humans are equal before he goes too far.
  • Discussed: ???
  • Conversed: ???
  • Implied: Evulz is mainly a Generic Doomsday Villain, but he gets a speech in which he describes himself as a "superior life form".
