Basic Trope: Parodies of religious-themed exclamations like "Oh my God!".

  • Straight: In a show set in Ancient Greece, Ariadne exclaims, "For the love of Artemis!"
  • Exaggerated: "For the love of Artemis, Zeus, Dionysus, Hera, Hades, Poseidon..."
  • Downplayed: “For the love of Heracles!
  • Justified: Abrahamic religion does not exist in the show’s universe, and the deities of the Greek religion are never called just “God”.
