Basic Trope: Prisons that include male, female, and juvenile prisoners.

  • Straight: Troperville Prison has inmates of all genders and ages.
  • Exaggerated: Even animals and other non-humans get sent to Troperville Prison.
  • Downplayed:
    • Troperville Prison is mostly a prison that adult males get sent to, but little Johnny gets sent to it at one point.
    • Troperville Prison does have inmates with varying genders and ages within its building, but they're still separated in some way.
  • Justified:
    • The town only has space for one prison, so they decide to send all of the prisoners to just the one.
    • The town has no need for women-only prisons or juvenile detention centers, due to crimes rarely being committed by women or minors in this setting.
    • Johnny escaped from the juvenile detention center and he's being put in an adult prison to ensure that it's harder for him to escape again.
    • The prison doesn't really care about the prisoners' wellbeing and are just trying to prevent the prisoners from escaping.
  • Inverted: Prisons are highly segregated to the point in which there are practically individual prisons for just one person.
  • Subverted: ???
  • Double Subverted: ???
  • Parodied: ???
  • Zig-Zagged: Troperville Prison appears many times — sometimes its inmates are segregated, and sometimes they aren't.
  • Averted: There aren't any prisons.
  • Enforced:
    • To bring back the villains who got Put on a Prison Bus in an interesting way.
    • The cast has varied gender and age, and the creator wants to put them in the same prison.
  • Lampshaded: ???
  • Invoked: ???
  • Exploited: The fact that there's no segregation in this prison means that previously-arrested Emperor Evulz, General Drake, Veronica Villainess, and Johnny can do a Villain Team-Up.
  • Defied: Barbaric Bully Flash Young decides to incite a Prison Riot in order to have his demands for segregated prisons heard out. And to prove he's not bluffing in the slightest, he sends several wardens, as well as Emperor Evulz, General Drake, Veronica Villainess, and Johnny into infirmary, possibly crippling them for the rest of their lives.
  • Discussed: ???
  • Conversed: "Why's the child being sent to an adult prison?"
