His family acknowledges that he made a mistake, but are relieved he's still alive and remind him that even after massive mess-ups like this, he can still find happiness in life.

- Bob is severely punished for his error and ends up internalizing a lesson that he must not make mistakes, lest they come back to bite him.
- Bob is a dealer in earth-shattering explosives. His careless error causes the Earth to go boom.
- Bob is a neurosurgeon. His mistake may not have ended the world as such, but try telling that to the patient and their family.
