Basic Trope: The part of an adaptation where a character adopts an attribute associated with them.

  • Straight: In the climax of the film Troperman, the titular Steven Ulysses Perhero finally adopts the moniker of Troperman after spending most of the film playing Comic-Book Movies Don't Use Codenames straight, and he also puts on the iconic Troperman suit.
  • Exaggerated: Troperman starts off appearing to be an In Name Only adaptation of the original comics, before it gradually shows the characters in the movie adopting the various traits of their respective characters in the comics.
  • Downplayed: Troperman eventually gets a suit that looks fairly similar to his appearance in the comics, but there are still various differences from the source material.
