Basic Trope: Naïvely stupid people who actively help the Villain with Good Publicity
- Straight: The inhabitants of Troperia actively aid Emperor Evulz.
- Exaggerated: Emperor Evulz is a Complete Monster who's always crossing the Moral Event Horizon and all of his inhabitants are always supporting him in spite of (or because of) his vile acts.
- Downplayed: While Emperor Evulz does have supporters, he has just as many detractors.
- Justified: Evulz did something that won the approval rating of his citizens.
- Inverted:
- 0% Approval Rating
- The citizens of Troperia are always supporting the Hero with Bad Publicity.
- Lampshaded: "Are these people that stupid enough to help such a vile person?"
- Deconstructed:
- After Troperia is defeated and liberated by Wikiland, the inhabitants who have actively helped Emperor Evulz in his atrocities are tried, convicted and sentenced to death for their complicities in Evulz's atrocities. They try to say they were Just Following Orders but that doesn't fly in the face of the trial, which included family members of the victims of Evulz's atrocities that said inhabitants had a hand in causing.
- Stug tries (and fails) to convince the public that believes in Emperor Evulz that he is a monster by exposing all his atrocities to them as they will side with Evulz no matter how monstrous he's been exposed as. After defeating Evulz, the public demonizes Stug for having killed Evulz. He declares that the public is beyond saving as they will still believe in Evulz no matter how monstrous he is and decides to slaughter the entire population next so no one will ever believe in Evulz.
