The parade dragon turning into a real dragon. What's scary about it you ask? What the dancers go through. We see the inside of the parade dragon transform into a stomach while the dancers are inside it.
The Rising. If the very concept of all the dead Morganians of the world rising from the grave to take over isn't bad enough, it's seeing it actually happen. Of particular note is the shot of the famous Paris Ossuary where some of the skulls become horrifically alive.
While she completely deserves it, Morgana's death. She is depowered and paralysed, and since Dave is not yet powerful enough to One-Hit Kill her, she is Forced to Watch helplessly as he blows aways parts of her, one at a time.
Chernabog was cut from the movie, but there’s still a statue of him present in the movie. Considering what he is, it’s easy to interpret that, even though he’s not in the film himself, he’s still there. Still watching. And still waiting for the fated night to arrive.
