- Chapter 3 gives a glimpse from Loona's POV while under SCP-012's influence. It's framed as the urge to finish the song the anomaly creates being so overwhelming that she literally can't think of anything else. Even with Blitzo weeping in terror right beside her.
- SCP-087 somehow appears in the hotel and nearly kills Angel Dust. What truly makes it unsettling is Angel's usual brash demeanor giving to utter terror as he slowly realises what's going on.
- Angel continues to be put through the wringer when he and Alastor encounter SCP-1337. He's the first to note the woman's strange nature, and especially her injuries, until he gets a nice close-up of the hitchhiker's face, with all of her injuries lovingly described to the readers.
- SCP-2000 is very much stated to exist here, which implies that humanity has been wiped out at least twice before due to previous XK events.
- SCP-5000's presence also states that its previous timeline also happened in the OHBD universe and the malevolent entity living in the human psychospace is still around.
