Heartwarming / The Slipper and the Rose

• Edward knighting John so he can marry the girl he loves.
• Cinderella and Edward's (first) reunion. John sees Cinderella dancing, recognises her, and immediately goes and tells Edward. As soon as Edward finds Cinderella, they kiss. Aww.
• The Fairy Godmother, in this version, is much more cynical than most Fairy Godmothers, and as the scene in her house shows she has a lot of work to do. All the same, she takes time out of her busy schedule to help Cinderella go to the ball, and then to arrange a happy ending when everything seems to have gone wrong.
  Fairy Godmother: [about helping Cinderella] Well, why not? I'll make time!
