Nothing like going over a waterfall to make you want to grab your family and hold them as tight as you can.
  • In "Close Encounters of a Strange Kind", Scrappy offers to look out for creatures, boasting that he's not tired. Cut to him sound asleep. Scooby just smiles and pulls his blanket up.
  • Shaggy apologizing to Scooby at the end of "Tenderbigfoot", for accusing the latter of eating their food supply while camping (It was actually Bigfoot).
Shaggy: Like, I'm sorry I doubted you, Scooby.
    • After losing Bigfoot over a waterfall, Scrappy appears to be missing. He then appears floating towards Scooby and Shaggy on a log. An overjoyed Scooby hugs him.
  • After accidentally turning Shaggy and Scooby into babies, Scrappy promising to take care of them for the week it will take to restore them to normal. And despite proving difficult, it was exactly what he did.
  • In "Scooby Doo And Genie Poo" Scooby's been brainwashed by a genie into following her every command, and is commanded to attack Shaggy and Scrappy. He has Shaggy and Scrappy by the collar. Instead of struggling or trying to fight, Scrappy just tells Scooby he wishes Scooby wouldn't act that way. Scrappy may want to fight baddies, but family seems to be a different story.
    • From the same episode, After Scooby managing to save himself from the crazy genie and her dog and return to his friends. Shaggy and Scrappy stop crying instantly, and Scooby hugs them.
  • The happy way Scrappy shouts "Grandpa!" and jumps right into Grandpa Scooby's arms when the trio visits him.
  • In "Scooby Gumbo" A chef throws Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy out of a restaurant because no dogs were allowed. There was nothing stopping Shaggy from going back in, but instead he stayed with his buddies and helped them find disguises so that they could all eat together. Awww.
    • Especially heartwarming considering how much he loves to eat...
  • Even though it turned out to be unwarranted, Shaggy and Scooby's rather quiet, heartbroken reaction when they think that Scrappy's been demolished by a bull (actually, Scrappy demolished the bull).
  • "Up A Crazy River" Shows Yabba placing Scrappy on his shoulders when their trapped in a flooding room.
  • In "Mummy's the Word", when lost in the desert, Scooby gets his nose stuck in a canteen. The normally oblivious Scrappy understands that Scooby needs a paw and doesn't waste a moment saying "let me help you"-it's a brief lull in the story but it's incredibly wholesome-just going to show that Scrappy may share Scooby's tendencies to be an utter sweetheart when the moment calls for it.
  • "Runaway Scrappy": Does have a few of these.
    • When Yabba and Dusty witness Scrappy being manipulated into helping with a train robbery (the robbers overheard him wishing he could help fight crime, and told him they were marshalls who needed to confiscate the silver) They are, first and foremost, desperate to, as Yabba puts it, "Save Scrappy from a life of crime!" True family love is unconditional.
    • The ending, where Scrappy decides to make his leave, and Yabba and Dusty make it completely clear that he is one of them, and he is here to stay.
  • In general, this series is pretty fluffy and sweet, more centering around the adventures and strong bonds between the three protagonists.
