Unmarked spoilers ahead
- KM-8713 going out of her way to help her comrade when she sees him injured, supporting him with one arm as she lugs him across the the battlefield and urging him not to give up because they started this together and will finish it together. When Phasma orders her to leave him, KM-8713 actually refuses to immediately comply with the order and keeps holding him up.
- When faced with visions of his parents inside the Cave of Evil, in spite of everything Kylo Ren doesn't kill them, merely tricking Snoke into believing he did. Ben Solo might still be in there somewhere...
- When Rose and Paige learn their homeworld has been destroyed and their parents and people killed by the First Order, they're prepared to go charging off on an ultimately pointless suicide mission against the First Order for revenge. Someone stops them from taking off and talks them out throwing away their lives for revenge...namely, Leia Organa, who knows exactly what it feels like to lose her entire planet and be powerless to stop it. It shows just how awesome Leia is that despite everything she's been through, she won't let it destroy her and she's able to inspire hope and courage in other people too. It also shows that she truly cares about and looks out for everyone in the Resistance no matter their position. The issue ends with Rose vowing to do everything she can to save others from the First Order, while Paige privately thinks that her little sister is her hero.

- The exchange between Hux and Bylsma about Kylo and Leia (which manages to be a Tearjerker too):Bylsma: Is he like her?
Hux: He is. He'd deny it, but he's very much like her.
