• The sheer fact that the demons actually like the Princess's presence and even want her around despite her causing so much trouble around the castle.
• Episode 4: Everyone doting over the rejuvenated princess.
• Episode 7:
  • When the princess is kidnapped by Hades, the elders almost immediately starts planning to rescue her and attempt to lure her out with candy, a comforter and the Teddy Demons she hangs around with. She really has grown on them.
  • At the end of the episode, after Syalis successfully escapes from Hades' castle, one of the Teddy Demons flies to her, pillow in hand, and she promptly hugs it.
    • Furthermore, there's the Fridge Brilliance that the Teddy Demon flying to her wasn't one that the Elders brought, but rather the one that stays with Syalis in her cell. As such, said Teddy Demon, once it realized what Hades has done, had likely spent most of the episode flying towards the castle of the Former Demon King in order to bring Syalis her pillow.
• In Episode 8, when the Cleric puts together that the hero and the princess' weird childhood friend are the same person, he gets angry on her behalf.
• In Episode 9, while they do try to get Syalis to act more hostage-like. The demons keep failing because they genuinely don't want to hurt her, and freak out when they think they've hurt her feelings.
• Episode 10,
  • When Syalis wants to go to the human realm to get the massage pillow, she asks the demon king to accompany her, only for him to point out that he's a demon, and she doesn't understand, calling them good and kind people. That's right, Syalis considers the demons who kidnapped her good and kind.
  • Syalis trying to get Cleric, Twilight and GRS to enjoy the fireworks.
  • Syalis's drawing is nothing short but heartwarming, as it is a symbol for demons.
  • Syalis gifting the Teddy Demons her message pillow Deluxe and giving Neo and Poseidon some food from the human realm.
• In Episode 11 when the princess is having a nightmare, the elders get Hypnos to help and when they realize that the hero and her fiancé are the same person. They all infamously agree to make his journey super hard.
• In Episode 12, it’s Christmas and the princess wants to return to her home to pick up her special holiday underwear. In the end, we find out she didn’t get them for herself to wear. She got them as gifts for the Teddy Demons.
  • In the same episode, Syalis give a speech to the kingdom of Goodreste. At first, it seems rather generic, before the demon castle realizes that she's actually talking about her time at the demon castle. This all culminates with her calling upon Demon Cleric and Twilight to take both her and Succyun to the Demon Castle, with the Queen giving her quiet approval to do so.

Manga

• In chapter 61, Syalis managing to calm down the giant Eggplant Seal after it got separated from her and sent to the Ice Zone due to its size, with the two and a couple of Teddy Demons enjoying a nap together.
• Chapter 223 features a number of this following Poseidon's defeat against the hero.
  • His depression following the defeat results in him being approached by a number of concerned Eggplant Seals, including the giant Eggplant Seal.
  • After Poseidon admits to the Princess that his depression is due to the hero's declaration of taking her back home, she assures to him that she has no plans to leave the Demon Castle.
  • The shot of Poseidon, the Princess (and one of her Demon Teddys) and the Eggplant Seals sleeping together with the giant Eggplant Seal, especially with Poseidon using the giant seal's tail as a sheet, and the giant seal cradling one of the smaller seals in its flippers.
• Chapter 235 is all about the Princess and the Elders getting a Teddy Demon and an Eggplant Seal to reconcile after the two get into a fight.
• Chapter 336 revolves around the late spirit of Demon King Twilight's grandfather visiting the castle during the Obon festival. He promptly possesses the princes... so he can hang out with his son, former Demon King Midnight, for some father/son bonding time that he regrets not having while he was still alive.
