- Although Mina considers taking the children she babysits with her on her martyrdom mission, she loves them too much to go through with it. Her final scene with them, hugging them as they tell each other their warm feelings, makes this clear.
- In the final episode, Darwyn embraces Marcus for one last time before going to pursue his vendetta against Farik. It's obvious there's still a lot of love between them, not least because Marcus is the last part of Gayle remaining after her passing.
