• Whilst Daniel, Jeannie's nephew, has been attending Radlands School, he has become uncharacteristically uptight, which concerns his mother Wendy, but his father Angus dismisses it as part of his new education. Following the violent events of the episode, Daniel comes running home where he immediately hugs his mother. Angus hangs back, and guiltily apologises. There is a pause, before Daniel gives him a huge hug too.
• Mrs. Hope, who has been looking after her lover Maurice Crabbe despite him faking being in a coma for several decades.
  • Jeff has known Maurice for seconds and what he knows about him is that he may have been responsible for Larry Hopkirk's death. Yet when Wallis tries to kill Maurice, Jeff does not hesitate to take the bullet.
• Jeff and Marty has become seperated due to an argument, Marty is about to be reduced to eternal imprisonment. Jeff, about to be killed by the vengeful and insane Stuart Boyle apologises for his behaviour, not even knowing if Marty can hear him or not. This enough for Marty to break his bonds and save the day.
