RWBY is described as 'hope punk' by some- individuals confronting the general cynicism and complexity of the world. The author's truly play up that hope punk situation in the story, while still balancing a darker tone.
- Ruby and Ben's relationship is just one moment after moment of Heartwarming Moments. You can tell these two are perfect together, having this sense of mischief with every step they take.
- Made even better by the fact that they get married in the future.
- Ruby getting the golden Sumo Slammer card for Ben after their first battle with Animo.
- Kevin seems to have some love for NYC- he has a nice time showing Ben and Ruby.
- Carl and Sandra are shown to be great parents in this series-
- They don't bat an eye at Ben detransforming, nor do they care that he's a superhero. They're more focused on getting ice cream.
- Carl offers to burn the suit with Ben and Ruby. They apparently make smores together.
- Kevin getting a happy ending, getting taken in by Anna at the end of Chapter 24.
- Max comforting Gwen in Chapter 16. With everything he's seen, he was probably best equipped for the situation at hand.
- Emerald and Charmcaster's cute relationship.
- It's small, but Max accompanying Kevin to a thrift store to get some clothes. He's probably the closest thing Kevin's had to a real dad in quite a while.
- Ben and Ruby's normal day at the fair in Chapter 24.

- Ileana Petranova was an Archimedean who could reportedly rival Azmuth in intelligence, and the two of them were apparently best friends.

- Ruby and Yang comforting a heartbroken Ben. They've been through this experience before, and say the right things to get Ben to better come to terms.

end with a sad note of Ben and Ruby hugging (presumably at the end of Chapter 24)...but it quickly shifts Ruby giving Ben a quick peck on the cheek. Awwww... - A Galvan, all but explicitly stated to be Azmuth, shows up at the memorial service the Plumbers throw for Max, saying that Max was a good man and telling Ben and Ruby that they reflect his values.
- Servantis has some trouble with his Frame-Up because the rest of the Plumber higher-ups like Ben and are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, forcing him to attack them and claim Ben did it to keep his plan going.
- Ben stopping Cardin from harassing Velvet by intimidating him with Diamondhead, which makes him promptly give Velvet her camera back.
- Ironwood seems to have a very personal relationship with Max, even praising his character and admitting to seeing a bit of Max in Ben.
- The Sensitive Ben clone giving Rook advice on dealing with the rift between him and his father.
- Velvet and Ben bonding by the former taking photos of his alien forms.
- Pyrrha is nothing but supportive towards her roommate Gwen after Max's death.
- In this universe, Albedo and Azmuth are still on good terms.
- Albedo and Neo's first meeting, especially when Albedo surprises Neo by knowing sign language.
- Albedo and Neo discuss their pasts over dinner.
- Neo was apparently raised in a backwater orphanage, until Roman took note of her thieving skills. Roman essentially adopted her and raised her like a daughter.
- Albedo was born with albinism and ostracized by peers- He didn't see his condition as a hinderance, however- he used this time to accelerate his learning, which eventually caught the attention of Azmuth, who took him under his wing.Albedo: I suppose we aren’t that different.
- Roman came up with a lame excuse for the two of them to go into Vale, spy on some nonexistent rival group he came up with, that just so happened to be across the street from a very fancy restaurant...and guess where their outpost happened to be? Roman tricked Albedo into having a dinner date with Neo.
- Even after learning about how Ceres inadvertently committed genocide, Ruby still tries to cheer her up.
- Ceres is obviously devastated over what she's done... and yet her friends still support and comfort her as best they can. They never treat her differently either.
- Min gets a bit of heartwarming: she has no idea what Ceres went through, but she knows that it was the worst thing to ever happen to her, and warns team RWBY to back off.
- When Ceres first hears Penny say that she's "not a real girl", she initially thinks that Penny is trans, and is ready to be supportive before she realizes what's actually the case, and later offers to help repair her from the damage from stopping the truck.
- Yang and Blake are confirmed to be dating, and Blake even wants to take Yang to meet her parents.
- Min and Kevin going to the dance together. Kevin is worried that this all feels fake, and Min immediately takes him out of it...by punching him in the shoulder.Min: Did that feel real to you?Kevin: Yeah! It did!Min: Then guess what? All of this is real. I wasn’t joking earlier. I chose to come with you because you make me laugh and you make me feel happy. None of this is a joke. And I don’t like the voices in your head making you feel bad. Honestly, I just don’t like the idea of you being upset. So how about we just enjoy ourselves? We’ve got enough to worry about in our normal lives, so let’s just… put in on the back burner. Just for tonight.

- Min admitting openly that she's going in blind to her romance with Kevin.Min: If we don't work out? Fine, we'll still be friends. If I end up spending the rest of my life with him? Also fine. I can't control destiny as a whole. I just did some edits here and there to make sure things reached the most likely possibility. It ain't easy, but hey, we're in the moment. And that's all that matters.

- Ben and Ruby's little talk during Chapter 66, about falling in love.Ben: I think it was during the end of the summer. Literally, the last day we thought we’d spend together. We were looking up at the sky and talking, and you remember how emotional we both got. You and I were close back then, but...I don’t know, the fact that I could be really vulnerable with someone...it just made me feel something.Ruby: Awww~Ben: When was it for you?Ruby: When I was leaving to train. Sometimes I wonder if that’s what life’s about, just a series of goodbyes and memories. But when it came to you, I didn’t want to say goodbye. I didn’t know why until...just recently...that, and you got really, really cute.
