Heartwarming / Norman Rockwell

  • Puppy Love. When Google used it as a Doodle image in 2010, viewership interest overwhelmed the Rockwell Museum's server.
  • Pretty much any painting telling a happy story:
    • Homecoming G.I. depictis a soldier returning home from World War II.
    • The Runaway has a cop talking a kid out of running away from home.note
  • Breaking Home Ties. While it borders on Tear Jerker status — a father sitting with his son as the young man is waiting for the train to take him away to college, with that forlorn dog resting his head on the son's knee — it still counts as Heartwarming, with the father seeing the boy off to become a man... and... sniff... oh, crap, we need a Tear Jerker page.
  • The Doctor and the Doll, in which a grandfatherly doctor gravely uses his stethoscope to examine a doll belonging to a worried-looking little girl. The seriousness with which he treats her seemingly absurd request, just to put her mind at ease, makes it perfectly clear he's a Friend to All Children.
