• Cobb and Floyd reuniting after their argument.

Chapter 22

• Cobb is confident that Floyd is able to fix his friendship with Soul despite his initial failure.
  Cobb: So if you really want Soul to be your friend again, you're gonna have to make that effort. And if he still doesn't want to be your friend, you say “Shut up Soul, I'm gonna be your friend again, whether you like it or not!” and give it an extra 100%.
  Floyd: He punched me in the face.
  Cobb: Friends are allowed to fight. I mean, we did, right? And remember how silly we felt when we resolved it? I'm sure if the two of you talk it out, you can resolve it too.
  Floyd: What makes you so sure everything will turn out fine?
  Cobb: Truth be told, I don't. Hell, half the time I usually wing it. But I know what you're capable of. And I know you can fix things. You just need to keep trying.

Daymonte Arc (Chapters 29-40)

Chapter 39

• As an apology for not believing in Cobb honoring their promise, Wynn gives him iron leggings and a pair of iron boots. In return, Cobb gives her a leather cap, noticing that her green one got missing. Wynn tries to deny the gift, but Cobb insists that she receive it anyway.

Dover Plains Arc (Chapters 41-51)

Chapter 51

• Noman finally placed his friends first over the artifacts. Doubles as Crowning Moment of Awesome.
  Ciro: That does it! [loads an arrow to Marble's neck] I'm going to blow your fucking HEAD OFF!
  Noman: Hey!
  [Noman holds the Voda Shlem over the lava]
  Noman: Language.
  Ciro: [laughs] What? Trying to bluff your way out of this again?
  [Noman narrows his eyes, not even bothering to comment or budge]
  Ciro: Nice try, but as I said before, you don't have the stones to—
  [Noman throws the Voda Shlem high, not even bothering to watch it tumble straight into the lava pool]

Halstatt Arc (Chapters 52-62)

• The villagers of Halstatt making up their mind and deciding to pull a Last Stand against Alec’s forces.

Chapter 81

• Cobb reunites with Wynn again, who is still angry at him. She asks him about the one action that upset her the most in order for her to forgive him.
  Seconds stretched on into minutes and his three companions fidgeted in place. Still, Cobb took his time. It angered me that he even had to think about what made me most upset. It should have been obvious.
  Finally, his eyes slowly opened and he looked back to me, his green eyes as hard as emeralds.
  "I'm sorry I felt my pain didn't matter to you."
• The answer proves to be correct, and the chapter ends by Wynn hugging him tightly and soothing Cobb as he cries on her shoulder.
  There was no rush. The guards, Solara, and Iron_Lung would have the situation under control without me. The Creeper herd could wait.
  Sure, stabbing Cobb with my rapier would have been warranted after all the turmoil he put his friends through.
  But honestly, I didn't mind the two of us hugging it out.

Bounty Day Arc (Chapters 82-86)

Chapter 83

• Cobb gains a newfound respect for Lenz after finding out that redstone is not all about dust and switches. The moment is negated by Lenz misunderstanding the intention behind his sentence, but it’s still sweet all the while.
  Cobb: Hey, Lenz.
  Lenz: Yes, Cobbert?
  Cobb: You're really smart.
  Lenz: Ah, so you think I am onto something with my Childhood Incident theory, hm?

Chapter 85

• After learning that he and Floyd are wanted as Executive and Lieutenant respectively, Cobb begins pleading with Wynn to believe them as innocent. Wynn immediately shuts his worries down and says she believes him and Floyd. She has truly come a long way.
• Lenz could’ve just left Bitters to do his own business after he finished speaking to him, but he still chose to defend Cobb’s dignity despite knowing full well that Cobb and Floyd only had a little time left before they ran out of Invisibility and thus will be found out. Doubles as Crowning Moment of Awesome.
  Bitters: I said what I've always been saying since the moment I met him. Cobb is no good. He feigned incompetence just to make himself look good when really he had cultist knowledge. No wonder he passed those Creepers back at the basin! He studied the things and used that information to herd them towards Ringwood! Nothing but pure evil.
  Cobb: [whispering] Ignore him, Lenz. We have to go, now!
  Lenz: Perhaps you are right. Perhaps Cobb is a cultist, masquerading as a Crafter just like you and I. But do keep in mind that a cultist masquerading as a guard was more willing to defend his allies in Halstatt than a guard of your caliber who simply ran away.
• Floyd defends Lenz from Bitters’ punch with his new shield, even if he doesn’t quite trust him yet.

Hounded Arc (Chapters 87-92)

Chapter 91

• Floyd and Lenz making up. Lenz admits that he never saw Floyd as weak, and Floyd tells Lenz that there is no better group for him to fit in than the Beginners. This culminates in a noogie given by Floyd to Lenz, laughing and telling the engineer that Cobb would never replace him.

Part IV

Identity Arc (Chapters 93-100)

Chapter 98

• Lenz telling Floyd that he can be a benevolent Hacker and apologizing about stepping back when the bluenette tried to approach him.
  Floyd: You… you really think I can be that? A benevolent Hacker?
  Lenz: It will definitely be a first.
  [Lenz bows his head]
  Lenz: Please forgive me. I reacted instinctually on fear. It will take time to be fully comfortable with your Hacker status and I hope you will be patient with me.
  [A moment of silence passes until Floyd chuckles, prompting Lenz to look up]
  Floyd: Take your time. I'll look forward to the day you can fully accept me.

Chapter 117

• Cobb chooses a green backdrop as the Beginners’ Banner to honor his history with Ringwood. Nobody spoke against this choice.
• Soul constantly berates Lenz about his very enthusiastic desire to acquire an airship. However, when it was revealed that the airship they’re gunning for was actually sold two nights ago, he began to aggressively shout at the merchant in Lenz’ defense, and did not think twice on forcing himself throughout the crowd to confront its buyer, Yukuo, who, mind you, is the prince of Zeppil.
  Lenz: [in tears] Soul… please… I'm… I'll be alright… I don't n-need an airship…
  Soul: Like hell you don't! We came here for an airship, and we're not leaving without one!

Part V

Wailing Vale Arc (Chapters 131-139)

• Cobb finally finds Jade.
  "Hey, Cobb…" A weary Jade smiled back, her eyes barely flicking open. She was clutching her head and she looked shaken. "What… kept you…?"
  Cobb broke down, but for once it wasn't in debilitating grief. From dry eyes a fresh wellspring of tears gushed forth. Cobb was laughing and crying and saying Jade's name over and over while he dug through the cobblestone with his bare hands. As soon as all obstacles were removed, he embraced the parkour master in a tight hug, kissing her cheek and forehead and dripping tears all over her.

Akasha Arc (Chapters 140-155)
