Pumpkin risking his life to save May from the lady in the lake in the beginning of the first book, especially since he didn't draw any attention to it and Arista was the one who pointed it out. This isn't the last time that he fights to protect May either, despite being a cowardly ditz most of the time.
In the third book, he again risks his life to save May from Bo Cleevil, of all people. Also mixes with Tearjerker because he ended up sacrificing himself for her.
Somber Kitty's loyalty to May, which goes largely unacknowledged in the first book when he's tracking all over the Ever After trying to find his master. It makes it all the sweeter when he finally reunites with her and she finally appreciates him as more than just a Replacement Scrappy.
Although it's a little sad, it was sweet to see May drawing a little picture of Somber Kitty in the dirt when she's imprisoned by The Bogey, to make up for not drawing any of him when she was back home.
May and Lucius reuniting in the second book, as she saves him from South Place. It's cute just how happy he is to see her again.
May being comforted by the Lady of the North Farm when she shows doubts about herself being some hero to the Ever After. She shows May a picture of herself when she was younger and she jumped off a car with a bunch of balloons strapped to her, telling her that that brave girl is in her somewhere. By the third book, she's right.
