Heartwarming / From A Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi

  • In "Brotherhood", the story begins with Anakin's death after saving Luke's own life. In the afterlife, Anakin continues his steps for redemption, powered by a firm and honest desire to make amends. This itself is very heartwarming, but it's also mixed with several other moments as well.
    • Considering the unimaginable pain he suffered as a full cyborg, it's good to see Anakin freed not only from the Dark Side's influence, but also his physical wounds.
    • When reflecting on his life, the very first memory Anakin recalls is of his mother Shmi, whom always believed in his compassion and loyalty, even comparing Anakin to the mythical Sun Dragon.
    • Once Anakin resolves to help the Galaxy and its people from his wrongdoings, Obi-Wan appears before him, acknowledging the former as an old friend. This in turn leads to Anakin expressing guilt for all that he did under the Dark Side's influence, which Obi-Wan hears out without any sign of condemnation.
Obi-Wan: Still trying to be the hero?
      Anakin: I'm not a hero.
(Anakin then remorsefully confesses his sins, while Obi-Wan patiently listens to him)
    • Obi-Wan's assurance that Anakin is not solely to blame for what happened. This is followed by him stating that like how Anakin's rescue of Luke did not excuse his actions as a Sith, the good done from Anakin's hands were not undone, with both serving a larger purpose for the galaxy.
  • Upon accepting a test of faith from Obi-Wan, Anakin is transported to Endor. There, he sees Luke cremate Darth Vader's armor, the latter doing so to honor Anakin. Following this, Luke returns to his friends; each displaying a strong sense of camaraderie. Witnessing all this, Anakin fully moves past from his inner weaknesses, something that was made possible from his son's empathy, loving nature, and wisdom.
  • Combined with awesome, both Obi-Wan and the narrative strongly imply that the Force itself deemed Anakin worthy of being a Jedi Master, hence his new robes. With all that he endured, Anakin finally achieved his goal.
