Heartwarming / A Time to Kill

• Carla forgiving Jake for bringing all this pain and suffering on everyone around him by defending Carl Lee, having come to the realization that, had his daughter been attacked in a way similar to Tonya, Jake would murder those boys himself.
• The deputy forgiving Carl Lee for inadvertently shooting him. Bonus points for the deputy also stating in front of the jury that, if it had been his own daughter, he would have done exact what Carl Lee did.
• "Just thought our kids could play together."
• Jake and Lucien's father and son like bond throughout the whole film.
