Knights Of The Other World

  • The Riders’ relationships with their girlfriends. As the story progresses, the Riders each find someone to love in Ever After among their new friends and their romances are absolutely adorable.
    • Arthur treating Raven less like a blossoming evil and more like an actual person. What cements their love for each other is how the Storybook of Legends, which shows a person’s future, shows two futures for Raven and four for Arthur. Raven’s first is the same from the show in which she follows her story and winds up imprisoned but the second shows her happily married to Arthur ruling as a queen over what is possibly New Camelot. Arthur’s four futures are as follows: the first shows he how he would’ve turned out had he stayed on Earth, a normal, bland businessman. The second is him following his grandfather’s story as King Arthur. The third shows him dying in battle defending Raven from mirror monsters. The fourth shows Arthur convincing Raven not to poison Apple and running away together to start a new kingdom.
    • Lance’s loyalty towards Apple. He may be a playboy but when he and Apple become a couple, he says that she is the only one for him. And when Gwen warms Apple of Lance’s bad habits half expecting the princess to be turned away, Apple only responds that she’ll have to work to curb those habits.
    • Darren and Lizzie. They bond so quickly that while some may say it feels rushed, it's a fairy tale world after all. When Lizzie is depressed at not seeing her mother, Darren is there to cheer her up by dressing up as the Joker and taking her on a date.
    • Gabe and Holly. It is hard not to gush at the way Holly sees the rider as her own little teddy bear.
    • Ben and Meeshell. The mermaid princess is the first person Ben meets outside his fellow riders who vocally appreciates his singing which he is dreadfully sensitive about. It comes to a point where the two would spend time singing duets together in private. Apparently when Ben was a little boy, he had a crush on Ariel from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” saying he would marry her some day. You could say his childhood dream has come true when he meets Meeshell.
      • Blondie, the nosy reporter that she is, discovers a private moment between the aquatic lovers Singing and misinterpreted it as a performance piece to be shared. Unfortunately, when Ben finds out he has a panic attack, passes out, and when he wakes up he loses his voice due to bad memories resurfacing. Blondie repents by making a compilation video of various students at Ever After praising Ben’s singing. Seeing how people love his talent and no one is mocking him, Ben finds the strength to regain his voice and his confidence.
      • And of course, during his rematch with Marine Knight, Ben tells the zealous prince that he doesn’t care about Meeshell being a princess. He simply likes her for her.
    • Harry and Briar: Harry swears that he will break Briar's curse within one day. This just cements her love for him. And if the Storybook of Legends is anything to go by, he does indeed keep his word.
    • Gawain and Rosabella: Gawain, Rosabella, and Cerise form a strong bond when they discover how he looks after animals of Ever After.
    • Kyle and Duchess: At first these two would just tolerate each other but as time went on, Kyle would become interested in the story of Swan Lake and diligently search for a version of the story where the curse is broken, which he finds and shows to Duchess. From there, they would share a romantic tension so obvious everyone could see it. Eventually it comes to a head when they both realize how they’ve been sending out mixed signals and not seeing the signs that they’re a couple. Then comes the events of Duchess getting kidnapped by none other than the destined villain of her story and Kyle, not falling for their tricks and easily fighting through their forces, officially declares his love for the swan princess and unlocks Survive Form. Ever since then there hasn’t been any confusion about wether or not they’re a couple.
  • King Arthur talking to Raven and Arthur about her decision to sign the Storybook. King tells Raven how Milton tricked her and this leads to her doubting Arthur would forgive her. King assures her his grandson cares about her and would be willing to talk to her still. Later, King is talking with Arthur and gives him a pep talk about forging his path. A little elderly wisdom can go a long way.
  • The riders reuniting with their grandparents and learning they really are the next knights of the Round Table. Suffice to say everyone is joyous bout meeting their family again. What really sells it is how the previous knights act like regular people instead of old warriors. Just shows how humble and down-to-earth King and his cohorts really are.
    • Sir Dagonet and Darren bonding over how mad they are.
    • Rob and Sir Bors bonding by arm-wrestling.
    • Gawain Sr talking in the same manner as his grandson to make him feel comfortable.
  • The true purpose of Rex’ quest for the Holy Grail. Apparently it’s more than just part of his family’s story, it’s a right of passage and the real purpose isn’t finding the treasure or proving himself, it’s the bonds forged between him and his party.
  • Darren’s first interaction with Brooke. When the rider first officially hears the narrators he opts to meet them. So he asks Mira to show him Brooke in the mirror and, using his armor to reach into the mirror world, pulls Brooke into Ever After so she can meet everyone in person! Just goes to show that Darren is willing to go so far as break the rules of reality if it means making a new friend.
  • The inaugural ceremonies of the Squire Knights.
  • Rex using the Time Vent to stop Brian, an enemy Knight, from dying, both to keep the death off his friends minds and to save his life. He is not heartless.
