Main characters
- Absent-Minded Professor: Merlin may be a powerful wizard & the mentor of the new Knights but he's not all ways on the ball case in point losing the Wise Knight Deck with its Contract Beast Nightwise soon going on a rampage & nearly eating poor Dexter.
- Big Good: as stated above, Merlin is pretty much the one who kicks the story into motion when he transports the bus carrying the riders into Ever After. You could call this is a Mythology Gag to the wizard's original role in helping King Arthur get started on his journey.
- Expy: Has more than a little common with another version of Merlin.
- The Mentor: Was this to King Arthur in the past & now acts as such for the new Knights.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: For a given definition of "teacher". Merlin summoned the Knights and gave them their decks, then seriously turned them loose to do whatever they wanted with no more guidance, and the only ones who got any training were the ones who bothered to do that all own their own. It came back to bite him when Tristan/Zolda blew up half the town after he wasn't ready for all the firepower of his finishing move, and Merlin had to pay for all the damages.
- The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: It presumably took considerable magic to create fourteen Advent Decks and capture 15+ Mirror Monsters to partner with the Kamen Riders. Merlin never does much with his magic beyond that, or even advise the boys that much, with how he gives them their powers and then basically just lets them wander around doing whatever they want for at least the first part of the story.
- Magic Mirror: She's this trope personified. Quite literally since again, she's a mirror spirit and daughter of the one residing in the mirror from Snow White's story.
- Rhymes on a Dime: And as such, she loves to talk in rhyme whenever she has the chance. Of course, this is more of a habit for hers since she doesn't rhyme 100% of the time. However, if you wish to ask for her help as a magic mirror, you have to ask in rhyme no matter what.
The fourteen people brought into Ever After by Merlin to protect its people. Using the Advent Decks from Kamen Rider Ryuki, they become the very same riders but call themselves the new Knights of the Round Table.
The tropes listed apply to the order as a whole.
- Adaptational Heroism: yes, the Knights do include the dark riders: Ryuga, Ohja, Abyss, and even Odin. However, this is an interesting case since it is not the characters from the show but fourteen original characters wearing the armor and each of them uses the armor to uphold the heroic creed of Camelot. By extension, they are not obligated to fight each other to the death.
- Fish out of Water: Averted. Though raised on Earth, the Knights take to their new lives in Ever After so well you would think they were originally from there. Well you would be half right...
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: There are two pairs of brothers among the knights. Both of them have this dynamic. (Lance and Harry, Rob and Kevin)
- Real After All: It’s no coincidence that the MC is named Arthur Pendragon, and other members of the group have such telling names also.
As Ryuki, Arthur is a balanced fighter. His Drag Saber Sword Vent enhanced his melee fighting skills while his Drag Claw Strike Vent gives him a flamethrower for ranged combat. His partner is Dragreder who becomes Dragranzer via the Survive Card.
- Cool Sword: Ryuki's primary weapon his Sword Vent the Dragsaber a Dao made from Dragreder's tail.
- Gun Blade: The Dragvisorzwei can be transformed into gun-blade like form via Sword Vent.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: His Guard Vent is the Dragshield a pair of shields that are made from Dragreder's body & legs that can be either handheld or mounted on his shoulders.
- Playing with Fire: With his Strike Vent Ryuki can launch fireballs & can use an even more powerful fire blast via his Shoot Vent as Ryuki Survive.
- Power Fist: Ryuki Strike Vent is the Dragclaw a gauntlet made from Dragreder's head that can shot fireballs.
- The Leader: Being the heir of King Arthur’s crown, he is the de facto leader of the Kamen Riders.
Lance is a jock, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. He prides himself on his track abilities and his basketball. He’s fit, handsome, and everything people want to see in student athletes. However, he’s not satisfied with any of it. It’s because someone’s already done it a million times over. Lance wants to stand out and be unique instead of just another stereotype. When he ends up in Book End with the others, he sees this as his chance. He plays up being a knight and wanting everyone to know it. He can come off as obnoxious and often annoys others with his showboating, but he does take it seriously. When he’s not showing off, he proves he is easy to get along with and a good friend, only his showboating annoys everyone. He quickly develops a rivalry due to their competitive natures. Also, when someone comments on some of their similarities, they are quick to deny it.
As Knight, Lance is primarily a melee-style fighter. He can equip himself with the Wing Lancer using his Sword Vent card, giving him additional reach to strike down his opponent. He can also summon his Contract Monster, Darkwing, to act as a cape to protect him or to give him wings for flight. Knight also possesses a Trick Vent card which creates corporeal clones that can support him in combat and confuse his enemies. His partner is Darkwing that becomes Darkraider via the Survive Card.
- Automatic Crossbows: When using his Shoot Vent Knight Survive's Darkvisorzwei becomes the arm-mounted bowgun the Dark Arrow.
- Badass Cape: Knight can use the Guard Vent to summon the Wingwall a cape made from Darkwing to protect him as well as let him glide.
- Bat Out of Hell: His motif.
- Blow You Away: How his Blast Vent the Dark Tornado works.
- The Casanova: Lance is this at first until he meets Apple.
- Jerk Jock: Thankfully averted. Lance might be a playboy but he’s still a nice guy.
- Jousting Lance: His Sword Vent is the Winglancer a lance made from Darkwing's tail.
- Knightly Sword and Shield: As Knight Survive his Darkvisorzwei can be split into the Dark Blade & Dark Shield via his Sword Vent card, the former being his primary weapon in Survive Mode.
- Make Me Wanna Shout: How his Nasty Vent the Sonicbreaker works.
- Me's a Crowd: Via his Trick Vent.
- One-Steve Limit: A broad example, but this is a story where all the superhuman characters are supposed to be knights, the villains are all called "Such-and-Such Knight", they have Mecha-Mooks called Black Knights, and then you have a knight whose name is Knight. Gets kind of confusing in most fights Lance is involved with.
- Royal Rapier: Knight's primary weapon is his rapier like Visor the Darkvisor.
As Kamen Rider Verde, Darren is primarily a melee-range fighter but his yoyo-like Bio Winder gives him extra reach in combat. He is apparently proficient in the use of yoyos as he performs numerous tricks that he uses in combat. His trick-based cards include a Clear Vent that makes him invisible and Copy Vent that allows him to mimic the appearance of anyone in battle to confuse his opponents, even copying them down to their weapons. Verde's eyes are not for show as they do in fact have a 360 degree field of vision. His partner is Biogreeza.
- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: No really?
- Commonality Connection: Darren never really fit in on Earth and people didn’t really take to his randomness too well. In Ever After however, he fits right in! Especially among the Wonderlandians who not only love his humor but are quick to accept him as one of their own. this probably has something to do with Darren being part Wonderlandian himself
- Ditto Fighter: Verde can take his opponent's appearance via the Copy Vent.
- Invisibility: Verde can turn invisible thanks to his Clear Vent.
- Killer Yoyo: Verde's weapon is the Bio-Winder a yo-yo made from Biogreeza's eye via his Hold Vent.
- Lovable Lizard: His motif.
- One-Steve Limit: Considering how unusual most of their names are, and how few male characters Ever After High had in the first place, it's kind of an achievement to give an OC just about the only name out there that's redundant with "Daring".
- Shout-Out: Darren is full of these. When on a date with Lizzie, he dresses as the Joker.
Primarily a melee-style fighter, Kamen Rider Scissors favor sharp weapons as he uses his Scissor Visor as a slashing weapon. He can equip himself with the Scissor Claw, a clawed gauntlet resembling Volcancer’s claws, giving him additional slashing power. His partner is Volcancer.
- Giant Enemy Crab: His motif.
- These Hands Have Killed was deeply traumatized by Blade Knight's death which he accidentally caused by cracking his deck allowing his monster to devour him in front of Rob. This causes Rob to experience Heroic BSoD and My God, What Have I Done?.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: His Guard Vent is the Shell Defense that is derived from the armor plating on Volcancer's back.
- Wolverine Claws: Scissors' has two pincer-like weapons at his disposal. 1st is his Visor the Scissors Visor a pair of arm-mounted shears & the 2nd is his Strike Vent the Scissors Pinch a massive pincer made from Volcancer's left pincer.
As Kamen Rider Tiger, his gentleness takes a backseat as he fights monsters but it still shines through when he protects his animal friends. The Dest Claws, unfortunately, makes him look even more frightening. His partner is Destwilder.
- Abusive Parents: His parents hated his speech impediment so much that their efforts to cure him has clearly left some scars.
- An Ice Person: Can control ice via his Freeze Vent.
- Friend to All Living Things: Gawain prefers animals to people. He, Rosabella, and Cerise work together to protect the creatures of Ever After and are the guardians of the animals residing in the Enchanted Forest.
- This is also what leads to him butting heads with Scout, who hunts creatures for sport.
- Panthera Awesome: His Motif.
- The Quiet One: Gawain doesn't talk a lot. In fact, the most he can talk is in short sentences as that is necessary to convey his thoughts. He lets his actions do the talking. There is some implication of emotional abuse as his parents discouraged him from speaking more than necessary. Or he has some kind of speech disability. It’s because if Gawain speaks more than 2 words per sentence, he stutters. His parents hated this so much they exhausted every type of resource to try and cure this speech impediment ranging from scams to speeding coaches. As such, he’s as sensitive about this as Ben is about his singing.
- Wolverine Claws: Tiger's Strike Vent is the Destclaws a pair of clawed gauntlets derived from Destwilder's arms.
As Kamen Rider Imperor, he is a melee-style fighter who primarily uses kicks. He can equip himself with a pair of arm-mounted drills called the Gazelle Stab. His main Contract Monster is Gigazelle but since the Zelle species are pack hunters, this allows Imperor to command a herd of Zelle-type monsters to support him in battle. His partner is Gigazelle.
- This Is a Drill: Imperor's only known weapon called forth via his Spin Vent is the Gazelle Stab, a gauntlet derived from Gigazelle's head.
Like Knight, Gwen as Femme is a melee fighter who is equipped with a rapier. Her partner is Blancwing.
The only girl of the group and the next Queen Guinevere. Gwen transforms into Kamen Rider Femme who despite being regal in appearance, carries herself as a tomboy rocker chick.
- Combat Stilettos: The story takes the high heels Femme had in concept art and puts them back on. Even though it goes ahead and points out they tend to get in Gwen's way in fights.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Her Guard Vent is the Wing Shield that is made from Blancwing's wings & back.
- Naginatas Are Feminine: Femme's Sword Vent is the Wing Slasher a double-bladed naginata made from the edges of Blancwing's wings combined together.
- Royal Rapier: Femme's primary weapon is her Visor the Blancvisor is a foil.
- Swans A-Swimming: Her motif.
- Tomboy Princess: Gwen fits this trope to a T. Her parents tried to raise her to be prom and proper and much to her chagrin, is enrolled in courses at Ever After High that makes her a stereotype. She resents the idea of being a typical princess which is why she is such a tough girl.
As Kamen Rider Ryuga, he is a balanced fighter like Ryuki. In fact, his arsenal is nearly identical to Ryuki’s down to their Contract Monsters. The only difference is that his stats and cards’ powers are slightly higher. His partner is Dragblacker.
- Cool Sword: Ryuga's primary weapon his Sword Vent the Dragsaber a Dao made from Dragblacker's tail.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: His Guard Vent is the Dragshield a pair of shields that are made from Dargblacker's body & legs that can be either handheld or mounted on his shoulders.
- Playing with Fire: Like Ryuki, Ryuga can use fire in combat.
- Power Fist: Ryuga Strike Vent is the Dragclaw a gauntlet made from Dragblacker's head that can shot fireballs.
- Not So Above It All: Max is a Knight of the Round Table but he goes around collecting bets for the championship Bookball Game, and bets against his own school. He also drugged Mr. Badwolf to steal the exam answers and then he sells them to his classmates.
As Kamen Rider Ohja, Kyle is a melee-type fighter who strikes hard and fast like a cobra. He shows no mercy and his Veno Saber Sword Vent allows him to hack and slash at his opponents. He also possesses a unique Steal Vent card which allows him to steal the weapons of other Riders and Mirror Monsters for him to use. His Contract Monster partner, Veno Snaker, enhances his bad boy appearance. His partner is Venosnaker who becomes Venoviper via the Survive Card.
- Berserk Button: Hurting women seams to be the quickest way to vex him.
- Catchphrase: When angry Kyle tends to use the word vex to try and articulate how angry he is at that moment (just like Asakura...).
- Cool Sword: Ouja's weapon is this Sword Vent the Veno Saber a drill-like sword formed from Venosnaker's tail.
- Poisonous Person: Ouja can use the poison of Venosnaker in battle.
- Snakes Are Sinister: His motif.
- Staff of Authority: Ouja's Visor is the scepter-like Venovisor that is not used in combat as much as his Veno Saber.
- Token Evil Teammate: Downplayed while overall heroic Kyle is easily the most at ease with killing having needed to be pulled back from killing his enemies twice and express a grim satisfaction at the news of Blade Knights death, he is also the most vicious of heroes when angered. He was obviously still heavily based on the version from Kamen Rider Ryuki.
Unlike most of the Riders, Tristan is a long-ranged fighter. As Zolda, his Advent Deck is loaded with Shoot Vent cards that can equip him with the Giga Cannons and the Giga Launcher. His Final Vent is the most destructive as it summons his Contract Monster, Magnugiga, to fire a salvo of missiles, lasers, and bullets to destroy the enemy while leaving huge collateral damage in its wake. Due to this, Tristan resolves to only use it for emergencies and tries to end a fight using his Shoot Vents instead. His partner is Magnugiga.
- BFG: After using his 2nd Shoot Vent card Zolda summons his Gigalauncher a massive missile launcher derived from Magnugiga's arms combined together.
- Informed Ability: In his introductory chapter he makes a "riff track" where he makes joking commentary over a movie. This charms the O'Hair sisters with his sense of humor, but we don't hear any of the actual jokes.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Zolda has two Guard Vents, the 1st is Gigaarmor a giant shield made from Magnugiga's torso & the 2nd is Gigatector a pair of pauldron derived from Magnugiga's knees.
- Power Fist: Zolda's only melee is his Strike Vent the Gigahorn, a horn gauntlet formed from Magnugiga's head.
- Shoulder Cannon: Summoned via his 1st Shoot Vent card Zolda calls form the Gigacannon, a pair of shoulder cannons made from Magnugiga's legs.
Gabriel, despite his childish appearance and behavior, wishes to be seen as a man. Of course, that is easier said than done when you look like a little boy despite being the same age as the other riders. Gabe compensates for this by turning into Kamen Rider Gai.
As Kamen Rider Gai, Gabe is a melee fighter who uses brute strength to overpower his opponents. He enjoys wearing his armor as it gets rid of his cute image. He can equip himself with the Metal Horn Strike Vent to enhance his striking power. His partner is Metalgelas.
- Badass Adorable: The adorable half comes from the fact that Gabe looks and acts like a little kid and constantly has girls fawning over him. The badass half comes from wielding the armor of Kamen Rider Gai.
- The Brute: And being Gai, Gabe typically fights with sheer brute force and can be seen as the muscle of the riders.
- Dude, Where's My Respect?: Unfortunately due to being so cute, hardly anyone can take Gabe seriously. It’s gotten to a point where Cupid, an actual angel has mistaken him for a cherub (which keep in mind is often depicted as an angelic infant) from her home. In fact, the girls of Ever After with some exceptions think Gabe is simply too precious and cute to be a Kamen Rider.
- Power Fist: Gai's only known weapon called forth via his Strike Vent is the Metal Horn, a gauntlet derived from Metalgelas's head.
- Power Nullifier: Has as this power via his Confine Vent.
- Rhino Rampage: His motif.
As Kamen Rider Raia, he can summon the Evil Whip using his Swing Vent card. He can also copy weapons using his Copy Vent card which means he can add any weapon to his arsenal, preferably one currently being used by another Rider or monster. His partner is Evildiver.
- Expy: He struggles physically and is suspected to have asthma, just like Chris Ramirez, who turns into the same Rider in Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.
- Flying Seafood Special: His motif.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Raia's Visor is the Evilvisor a small shield resembling Evildiver.
- Weapon Specialization: Via his Swing Vent Raia can summon his primary weapon Evil Whip that is made from Evildiver's tail.
As Kamen Rider Abyss, Ben is the only knight of the Round Tale to have more than one Contract Monster. Like Ryuki, he is a balanced fighter as he can summon the Abyss Saber and Abysssmasher which can fire high-pressure water blasts. Unlike his shy appearance, Abyss is intimidating and he prefers to stay in his armor while interacting with others. His partners as Abysslasher and Abysshammer which can fuse together to become Abyssodon and evolve further into Abysscharzone via the Survive Card.
- Berserk Button: Hurting Meeshell. Full Stop.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Ben's usually sweet and gentle, despite his size, and has a wonderful singing voice. However, do anything to hurt Meeshell and his more ferocious side comes out.
- Cool Sword: His Sword Vent is the Abyss Sabers a pair bone-like used by Abysslasher.
- Making a Splash: Fights with water in various ways.
- Power Fist: Abyss has two. 1st is his Abyssvisor modeled after Abyssodon what can fire bolts of water & the other is his Strike Vent the Abyssmash a gauntlet formed from Abysslasher's head that can fire streams of water.
- Threatening Shark: His motif.
As Kamen Rider Odin, he has supernatural abilities. He can levitate and teleport. In addition, he possesses the powerful Time Vent card. His partner is Goldphoenix.
- The Ace: Being the wielder of Odin’s Advent Deck, Rex is one of the most powerful members of the Round Table.
- Cool Sword: His Sword Vent is the Gold Sabers a pair of swords made from the tips of Goldphoenix's wings.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Using his Guard Vent Odin can summon the Gold Shield that is derived from Goldphoenix's tail.
- The Phoenix: His motif.
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: Rex comes from a house of royalty but lived a modest life, not as punishment for anything but to learn self-sufficiency. And of course, he isn’t afraid to dive into the heat of battle.
- Staff of Authority: Odin's Visor the Goldvisor is a regal scepter.
- Sweet Tooth: Rex loves sweet, as in he really loves them. As a kid, he had a sugar addiction that made him fat so he was put on a diet. Still, his love for sweets remains and it's a good thing he's dating Ginger who can make him all the treats he desires. His love for sweets can cause him to lose control. He once bit someone for taking his cupcake and then he attacked Blondie to get the last pumpkin pie from her.
- Time Master: Has powers over time & is frightened by the implication this power.
Squire Knights
As Falco, Hunter in a long-range fighter relying on both his Bowvisor and his Shoot Vent summoned bow. His partner is Guldwind.
- Automatic Crossbows: His Visor the Bowvisor is a wrist-mounted crossbow.
- Noble Bird of Prey: His motif.
- The Straight and Arrow Path: His main weapon is a bow.
As Savanna Jillian in a mid-range fighter who fights with a combination of her spears and agility. Her partner is Savanneck.
- Remember the New Guy?: Her first major appearance is all the way in Ch. 27, where she gets her deck and joins the Round Table. The story repeatedly talks like her being an accomplished adventurer is something well-established already note .
Being of similar ability to Wise Knight, Glaucus is a highly mobile short-to-mid-range fighter armed with blades formed from his partner's feathers. His partner is Moonwise.
- Cool Sword: Wields a gladius-like sword.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: His Visor the Wise Visor.
- The Owl-Knowing One: His motif.
In combat, he is a short-range fighter who uses his blades in conjunction with his great speed. His partner is Silverclaw.
- Cool Sword: A bronze saber from Silverclaw's tail.
- Freudian Excuse: Deacon’s acts as a good person are largely because he doesn’t want to fall to greed and die like his father. As he puts it, he grew up with the signs of greed and recognized this in Victor.
- Noble Wolf: His motif.
- Wolverine Claws: A pair of claws derived from Silverclaw's front paws.
In combat, he is a short-range fighter who fights with his sword and gauntlets with slow but powerful strikes. His partner is Vilegator.
- The Atoner: Bog Knight seems to want to go with the Kamen Riders but he cannot. When asked why he says his home Wonder Land was ruined and he still has “things to do”. this is no longer the case
- BFS: Uses a massive serrated longsword from Vilgator's tail.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: His Visor.
- Never Smile at a Crocodile: His motif.
- Power Fist: The Vile Jaws a pair of gauntlets derived from the top & bottom halves of Vilgator's head.
Order of Rogues/The Order of the White Dragon
A growing number of rogue Kamen Riders each given an Advent Deck by an unknown source.
- Entitled Bastard: The majority of the Rogues are those who stubbornly believe that they are the destined heroes of their stories or are meant to be the princes to the princesses of Ever After.
- Bow Knight thinks he is the destined Huntsman
- Marine Knight believes Meeshell is the mermaid who rescued him when he was little and thinks himself to be the prince of the Little Mermaid.
- Calibur Knight is determined to see Arthur marry Gwen, the future Guinevere, and rebuild Camelot as her king.
- Perfect Knight is the worst since he believes he is worthy of being the “Prince of all Tales.”
- Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: The story harps on how pathetic some of them are so much, you might start to feel a little sorry for them.
- Murder the Hypotenuse: A very common motivation is wanting to steal a Knight of the Round Table's princess girlfriend.
- No Name Given: The Rogues are not given rider names or are even called Kamen Riders despite in-fact being riders. Ten-Faced Paladin explains in an author’s note that this is deliberate due to knights back then being named when they are recognized for something. Otherwise, knights are only called by their features. As such, the Rogues are called such names as Wild Knight and Bow Knight.
- Original Character: The Rogue Knights overall.
- Token Good Teammate: Wild Knight, Bog Knight, and Toxic Knight. Bog Knight isn’t evil and is trying to overcome the past grief of a great tragedy by helping others, Toxic Knight is an honor-bound warrior who simply works for the Rogues just because it is his duty, and Wild Knight is seemingly a genuinely good person. now Toxic Knight is the only one
- Corrupt Corporate Executive
- Flawed Prototype: As theorized by Merlin and the riders, the rogue decks are prototypes distributed in a grand field test to expose any flaws in the designs to be tweaked before full-scale production can begin.
As the Whyte Knight, he fights in a manner similar to Ryuki and Ryuga. His partner is Dragwhyter.
- Ambition Is Evil: as revealed by the CEO, they desire to rule Camelot.
- An Ice Person: Has power over ice
- Big Bad: They’re definitely shaping up to be this. Being the person making the Rogue Advent Decks and is possibly the one behind the Shereghost invasion on Legacy Day.
- Cool Sword: Like Ryuki & Ryuga he has a Drag Saber
- Evil Counterpart: To both Ryuki & Ryuga if only ascetically in the latters case
- Expy: His appearance and role in the story seems to take inspiration from Kamen Rider Wiseman Further appearances suggests he's more along the lines of Kamen Rider Thouser.
- Fatal Flaw: Short-sightedness. Victor due to his need to be seen as a proper king tends to recruit his knights from noble stock and the like over anyone else with equal or greater skill but lower standing. Unfortunately, this has backfired more than once with them either being incompetent and losing their decks to the heroes or outright defecting to the Round Table. After doing this one to many times and even being warned not to do it The CEO strips Victor of his right to hand out decks and replaces him as field commander with Basher Knight.
- Foil: To none other than Ryuki/Arthur all the way down to their contract monster. Whereas Arthur is a future king who has faith in their partner and their friends, Victor is a future warlord who sees his fellow Rogues as nothing but pawns in his destiny and doesn’t care about them.
- Dragredder is an eastern-based fire dragon whom mutually trusts their partner, Dragwhyter is a western-based ice wyvern who is clearly not valued by their partner as anything more than their mount.
- Light Is Not Good: Appearance-wise, he brings to mind the Knight in Shining Armor, the archetype for most knights. However, he is also the Big Bad and responsible for creating the Rogue Knights.]]
- Power Fist: Like Ryuki & Ryuga he has a Dragclaw

- Automatic Crossbows: His Visor the Bowvisor is a wrist-mounted crossbow.
- De-power: Had his deck confiscated after his defeat. This did not last
- Discard and Draw: Lost his powers as Bow Knight only to gain new one's as Beast Knight
- Evil Counterpart: To both Hunter & Gawain especially to the latter after becoming Beast Knight
- Expy: Scout is based around Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.
- King of Beasts: His motif as the Beast Knight
- Noble Bird of Prey: His motif.
- Pride: And yes. He is just as haughty and arrogant as the evil hunter as you can no doubt guess.
- Playing with Fire: Via the Burn Vent as the Beast Knight
- The Rival: To Gawain.
- The Straight and Arrow Path: His main weapon is a bow.
- Took a Level in Badass: Is much more of a threat after returning as the Beast Knight
- Wolverine Claws: Has a pair of these as the Beast Knight
As the Perfect Knight, he relies on his Rapier & Lances in combat. His partner is Bicolius.
- Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: Oh yes. Anyone with the name “Perfect Knight” is almost certain to have an ego dwarfing most mountains and this particular Knight is nothing more than a hopeless fop who cannot hold his own in a fight or at least for very long.
- Blinded by the Light: Via his Nasty Vent.
- Determinator: Of course, no matter how many times he is defeated, he will refuse to admit defeat.
- De-power: Lost his powers after Bicolius was destroyed
- Engineered Heroics: A very poor example. He tries to make himself look good, but normally ends up late or falling short.
- Fusion Dance: Merges with his contract monster during his final fight to become Perfect Knight Centaur Black, forcing Knight to have to use his Survive form to defeat him.
- Faux Affably Evil: When Lance meets him as Rebellious Charming, he comes across as polite, pleasant, and humble. However, his true colors come to the surface when he is wearing his armor.

- Cool Sword: Use's a pair of these called the Aqua Slashers.
- Devious Dolphins: Her motif.
- Elemental Shapeshifter: Via her Liquid Vent card Caibur Knight can become living water.
- Heel–Face Turn: Being so fiercely loyal to the pendragon line and Camelot, she turns on Whyte Knight faster than you can say “making waves” during the battle in the Enchanted Forest. Of course just because she claims to be siding with the Round Table, certainly does not mean Arthur trusts her in any way. If anything Arthur has her on probation...
- Making a Splash: Calibur Knight uses hydrokinesis for such abilities as a water whip, water jets for flight, or warping through water for quick travel. It’s unclear if this power comes from her armor or is from her mother and is simply enhanced by her armor though.
- Ninja Maid: To Raven after swearing fealty to her as the next queen of Camelot.
- Staff of Authority: Her Visor.
As the Wise Knight, he was a short-ranged fighter armed with a bladed cape. His partner was Nightwise.

- Scary Scorpions: His motif.
- Sinister Scythe: His Visor.
- Wolverine Claws: A pair of pincers.

- I Reject Your Reality: Regardless of how much evidence to the contrary he is shown he utterly refuses to believe that Ben has not brainwashed Meeshell & still believes her to be the mermaid who saved him.
- Kraken and Leviathan: His motif.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Has a shield.
- Power Fist: Summons a pair of gauntlets modeled after Bakraken & Wiskraken's heads.
- Prongs of Poseidon: His main weapon is a trident.
- Stealth Pun: His real name's Erik, presumably a reference to the Disney version of The Little Mermaid (1989), which gets mentioned in Ben's background when he and Meeshell are meeting.
- Wolverine Claws: His Visor.
As the Weaver Knight, he is a mid-range fight who relies on his webbing to trap & ensnare his foes. His partner is Dispider.
- All Webbed Up: Fitting for a spider knight he can fire webs from his Visor. He also uses webs to make a massive web shield via his Guard Vent.
- Multi-Armed and Dangerous: His weapon is the Dis Striker the eight legs of his monster Dispider that attach to his back.

The Grandparents
The previous King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table were all students at Ever After High meant to fulfill the stories of Camelot. However, King Arthur had grown fed up with Milton’s stubborn belief that the stories and fairy tales have to be carried out the same way or Ever After will disappear. So instead of letting the stories play out and have Camelot fall, the Round Table decides to leave for Earth to live out their own lives.- Faking the Dead: The old knights were forced to fake their deaths on Earth in order to keep Ever After a secret. This is because apparently Fairy Tales age much slower than regular mortals so if they stuck around long enough, people would begin asking questions about how they retain their youth while everyone else ages.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Bordering on uncanny. Because they age slower than people from earth, they are still pretty young and as such, they look almost exactly like Arthur and his fellow riders barring height differences and some wrinkles.
- Break Them by Talking: King May come across as a nice guy but he is not afraid to give a major talking down to those who deserve it. Just ask Headmaster Grimm who’s almost ready to pass out after he’s confronted on switching Raven’s gift from her mother with a fixed wishing well coin.
- Cool Old Guy: Fits this in spades. Of course, you can’t really get much cooler than being the previous King Arthur.
- Retired Badass: Pretty self-explanatory.
- Riches to Rags: Sort of but not quite. He went from a legendary king to a hardware salesman when he left Ever After. Of course he never really went to rags. He simply went to a more modest lifestyle raising a family of his own. And even then, he was still a pillar of his community whom everyone would respect and seek for advice. You could say that even as a common man, he is still a king.
- Exact Words: King told his grandson he came to America from a distant country with his friends. Arthur had no idea what his grandpa really meant and that was the idea.
Other Ever After High Inhabitants
Throughout their adventures in Book End, the Knights eventually find love in several of the inhabitants living there.
- Adaptational Wimp: Only finds the courage not to sign for her mom's destiny because her boyfriend's there to support her. She did it on her own in the web series.
- Dark Is Not Evil: She may the princess to the Evil Queen but she's nothing like her. In fact, Raven is probably one of the nicest girls you would meet around Book End.
- Informed Flaw: Darren gets told that Lizzie's really loud and forceful, and screaming "Off with your head!" all the time like she is in canon. She's almost never like that in Kot Ow, however, seemingly as it didn't have the room to show her getting over that and starting a relationship with Darren.
- Damsel out of Distress: Oh big time! Darling may take damsel-in-distress classes but she is anything but. Not only is she secretly a white knight who fights alongside her girlfriend and even before she meets Gwen, but she’s perfectly capable of wielding Kamen Rider Femme’s Advent Deck with amazing skill.
- Lipstick Lesbian: Fits this trope and seems to have this effect on her tomboyish girlfriend Gwen.
- Belligerent Sexual Tension: Her relationship with Kyle until their real feelings come out. Of course everybody in Ever After could tell they liked each other to the point where the Knights took bets on how and when they would confess.
- Jerkass Has a Point: In the chapter where Tristan's introduced, Duchess hears him cracking jokes during a movie and gets annoyed. Most people would probably agree that's an obnoxious thing to do to other theatergoers.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: He's friendly rivals with fellow rocker Gwen. Compare to how he acts in Rebel's Got Talent
