Repaying the debt
Won't Jamal keep coming after the widows since his brother's dead and he still didn't get his money? It's not like he'd buy that Harry just decided to kill himself right after he pulled a major score.
- Jatemme was conspicuously alone when he stole the van and the money from the widows. This indicates that he didn't want his goons to know he was taking the money, meaning Jamal probably didn't know. Veronica probably paid on schedule and divided the rest of the money with the other girls.
They wouldn't get away with it
- During the robbery, Alice is shot and presumably bleeds on the floor at least a little. The cops would find that blood and compare it to any gunshot victims in the city that night, and Alice would be caught.
- If she's not in the system (which is likely) they wouldn't be able to match that with any blood absent other evidence for ordering a DNA test. She's probably not whom they would suspect either. The cops will thus probably not catch them, but put it down to her being an unknown accomplice of Harry, who escaped along with the others.
