So: if Pat, when he is The Crooked Man, can't see normal, non-superpowered humans, then how was he able to attack the BIONA agents and their van during the climax of Episode 9? Him knocking Nicole to the floor was an accident, but him attacking the van was a deliberate action.
It's not like he became blind. We did get some brief look of his POV on the final fight. Everything is just a dim blur while Dion and his power is a bright light (even then Dion is still just vaguely human figure to him) So until Dion was in the picture he could still tell that there's something big in his way, just not who or what
How exactly was it that nobody but Pat Rollins had seen the news story regarding the man who was killed and recognized it? BIONA realistically would've been on constant watch for a potential sign of The Crooked Man returning, but it takes a significant amount of time after Pat relays his story for them to verify what was on television. It feels less like a reasonable oversight and more like they needed to give a reason for them to not believe Pat, steering him in the direction of going bad again.
