• Why was everyone so shocked to find out that Rosalyn and Cronan used to be a couple? She'd told them already, several episodes before, about how he had manipulated her into stealing her throne.
  • They didn't think she'd actually ever been in a relationship with an evil villain and assumed he stole it from her via more ruthless methods, like storming her castle with an army.
  • Maybe it wasn't so much the previous relationship they were surprised by. The fact that Rosalyn still had that picture, and explicitly kept it hidden away, implies that she did and probably still does genuinely have feelings for him, whereas everyone else expected her to hate him for everything he did.
