Akari telling Koike about Kaga
- Akari explains to Koike about how Kimihiro started the Haze Go Club and then all the other members. She didn’t explain to Koike about Tetsuo Kaga. Koike does meet Kaga in the Manga but why didn’t Akari say that Kaga was with Hikaru and Kimihiro?
- Probably because Kaga was never really a full member of the club. He agreed to help them play in their first tournament, but didn't get involved beyond that, so his influence on the club's daily activities is minimal.

Name preference
- Zero times has Akari referring Hikaru to the group as “Shindo” and Hikaru never once called Akari, “Fujisaki”. Not even the Insei refer to each other by given name (especially if they’re close to each other as Akari).
- It's common for children who grow up together from a very young age to refer to each other by given names.l
- Everyone (in the English dub at least) aside from Hikaru refer to Akari as her given name. In earlier episodes, everyone called each other by their given name. Can’t anyone like Yuki in episode 63 call Akari, “Fujisaki”? He as isn’t as close to her as he is to Hikaru. Maybe Akari prefers to be called be her given name while Hikaru doesn’t mind on what people call him.
