• Why did it take the blind kid so long to realize the parakeet was dead? Even if he's blind he still has a sense of smell.
  • He could have tried to wash the bird assuming it was just naturally smelly. Considering that it took him that long to realise it was dead, he may not have anyone living with him who could have told him differently (which raises various questions about who leaves a blind child in a wheelchair on their own that long).
• Lloyd states he was fired for leaving the scene of an accident. Was this from when he casually drove through a red light while talking to Mary, causing at least one car to crash and explode, or when he rear-ended the car at the airport and ran off, trying to retrieve her briefcase?
