• So, George can apparently afford to make several round-trips to various countries around the world, but he doesn't bother to carry fifty dollars in cash with him?
  • Maybe he pays on credit card? or he asks his friends in the united states for help?
    • Maybe he was just feeling so cocky about his adventuring by the time he arrived in Syria that he simply didn't bother carrying any cash - he could have been expecting to fly back to Paris on the same day.
