Funny / The Last Remake of Beau Geste

Go To

  • At the very beginning of the movie, Marty Feldman walks in on the spinning Universal globe (the old, black-and-white version from The Golden Age of Hollywood), and proceeds to strip the letters off the globe and smush it into a more-or-less square shape, leading directly to the Reality-Changing Miniature moment referenced on the main page.
  • During a horrific march through the desert, Digby (Feldman) begins hallucinating that he's in the original 1939 movie with Gary Cooper.
  • Digby, facing a firing squad: "You expect me to talk when all I could preserve is my own measly, worthless life? TOO BLOODY RIGHT, I'LL TALK! I'll talk, I'll talk, just try and stop me!"
