  • This exchange from "The Pied Piper of New York Town"
    J. Jonah Jameson: Who are you?
General: Who am I? Who are you?
    J. Jonah Jameson: (notices Spider-Man on the monitor he's standing in front of) Spider-Man!
    General: You're Spider-Man?
  • J. Jonah Jameson yelling at his nephew Mortimer for having to retract the report of Spider-Man stealing gold in "Carnival of Crime".
  • J. Jonah Jameson's tantrum at never learning Spider-Man's identity in "Revenge of the Green Goblin". At the end of the episode, Betty Brant mentions that Jameson yelled so much that he lost his voice, Peter quipping that it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
  • On the way to a phone booth, Spider-Man bumps into a well-built guy wearing a blue suit, red tie, and glasses. The two stare at each other awkwardly until the guy leaves.
Spider-Man: Say, where have I seen that guy before?
  • "The Web of Nephilia":
    • The eponymous villain relays a message to Spider-Man by webbing Jonah up and dangling him along the side of the building. What's more, Spidey accidentally rips off part of Jonah's shirt trying to get the webbing off.
      • This happens a second time, too, and an indignant Jonah just hangs there with his arms crossed. When Spider-Man finally arrives, Jonah grouses, "Took you long enough!"
    • Peter gets grief for not donating blood, which he doesn't want to do since he's got radioactive blood. However, after insulting Jonah's legendary cheapness, he's told he won't get paid for a single photo until he donates some blood and comes back with a button to prove it. As Spider-Man, he tries to simply steal the button from the truck, but he just can't go through with it.
Spider-Man: I have a reputation to protect, even if it is a lousy one.
