Funny / Evil Food Eater Conchita

• Muzuri's actions in the beginning of the novel before the tragedy hits, in how completely he misinterprets what the Baemu pig means for his family, starting with him thinking it's a messenger of the gods and ending with him deciding to drink wine from the glass they found in its stomach.
• According to Mothy himself (and suggested in the novel), Conchita's dad, Muzuri, originally wanted to name her... "Muraramurajakotasupopopo". When questioned about why Muzuri would name his child THAT, Mothy stated, "Ask Mr. Muzuri".
• None of the guests from Beelzenia liking the food from Marlon. Arte calls it pig slop and declares war over it with Pollo attempting to placate her, and at the fancy dinner almost everyone leaves at least half their food on their plate, making lame excuses about not being hungry or there being too much.
• Juno trying to play matchmaker with Oruhari and Conchita at her get-well party. When she suggests he start looking for a new bride now that his wife has passed on, he (rightfully) points out that there is too large an age difference between him and Banica, so it would never work out.
  Juno: Oh? But I didn't say a word about it being Banica?
• In the beginning of Poisson, the waiter discovers that the unnamed guest (Gallerian) can't stomach the Ziz Tiama dish because a Ziz Tiama killed his family. They naturally apologize, offer to have the chef prepare a new course for him, and then...give the Ziz Tiama plate to another random guest.
• When Arte and Pollo start making a scene with Carlos in Soup, Banica, still fairly young, can only shyly apologize for their incredibly rude behavior. When they start making another fuss about the food in Poisson during Duke Oruhari's dinner, Banica does apologize for them...after interrupting Pollo by hitting his head with her fist.
• Pollo introducing "Geheehee" as his Evil Laugh when they catch Platonic sneaking around the mansion. Arte is not impressed.
• Pollo getting upset when Banica eats Arte—because now there isn't anyone in the mansion who can cook.
  • On that note, the buildup to the scene would be horrifying, Pollo noticing that Arte's missing, finding Banica lounging around covered in her blood with her ribbon lying on the floor—except he's so unbelievably dense that he has to have it actively spelled out for him that that's what happened.
• In the final scene of the novel, the Demon of Gluttony tells Banica to eat her baby because it’s a vaccine. Banica asks what that is, and if it’s delicious.
  • There's also something darkly amusing about the demon having a breakdown when Banica resolves to eat herself.
• Elluka's reaction to Platonic unintentionally causing Arte's pet pig Murara to disintegrate by poking it (after ordering her to touch it no less):
  Elluka: Platonic, you’ve remorselessly slaughtered an innocent little pig!
