"He's the sucker with a mustache who looks like a green Mario!"^note  This was in response to Sonic being asked if he knew Link, by the way. And Captain Falcon assumes he was talking about Luigi.

• Sonic's response to being asked if he knew Link, pictured to the right. When he gets it right the second time, he gets another moment when mentions the "sick ninja dude" known as Sheik.

  Captain Falcon: This ninja dude is actually a girl. Her name is Zelda, and she's the Princess of Hyrule.

• Blood Falcon gets a couple of laughs:
  • At one point during his fight with Sonic, he prepares a Charged Attack that will supposedly end the battle in an instant. It doesn't.
    Sonic: Uh, dude, you've been hanging there in the air for a while now. What happened to wrapping up this battle in an instant?
    Blood Falcon: [charging the attack] Shut up, hedgehog! You're interrupting my concentra- [unleashes the attack too early] DAMMIT!
  • Then a moment later, when Blood Falcon explains his plan to defeat Sonic via Fantasy Sequence:
    Sonic: Yo, did you just slowly walk up and down smash?
    Blood Falcon: Shut up, hedgehog! Stop interrupting my dream sequence!
    • And Sonic simply counteracts this by tripping Blood Falcon when he charges.
• The way Black Shadow treats his battle against Falco and his group: he treats the fight like a game, and almost acts with a child-like mentality.

  Black Shadow: Well, sorry guys. It's been fun, but I'm gonna have to kill you now. Bye-bye!

• Mewtwo contemplating whether or not to use his mind-reading powers to find Shadow's weakness.

  Mewtwo: Oh, well. Mind-reading it is.

• When Blood Falcon arrives to stop Fox and Sheik, Meta Knight intervenes. Fox and Meta Knight chat briefly, momentarily forgetting about their foe.

  Blood Falcon: Why is everyone ignoring me today?!

• Most of Phantom Ganon's quips during the fight with Mewtwo and Shadow.

  C-C-C-Combo Breaker!

  Really, this one big game of pinball. I'll be the pins, you be the ball! DING DING DING, HIGH SCORE! LOOK AT ALL THOSE POINTS!

  • His speech when he's defeated also counts:
    Phantom Ganon: You think you've won? Congratulations! By defeating this tiny fragment of my power, you have accomplished...Drum Roll, Please.
    Drum Roll
    Phantom Ganon: Absolutely nothing! We hope you have enjoyed your empty victory.
• After Captain Falcon and Black Shadow's respective punches collide, there's this exchange:

  Falcon: Okay, time out. Did you seriously just steal my move?

  Black Shadow: Oh yeah, because naming your moves after animals is so original.

  Lucario: Um...he's kind of got a point there.

• Sheik ordering Link to haul an unconscious Black Shadow all the way back to the prison facility.
• Bowser's reaction to Ganondorf's army marching on his castle:

  Bowser: First the princess learns to defend herself making kidnapping her way harder than it needs to be, and now someone dares to assault my mighty fortress? Can't a Koopa King get any respect around here?!
