  • Francis' scenes with Yoki the chimp, mostly when he tries to get into a taxi:
Francis Can you take us to-
Taxi Driver: I'll take you, but not your brother.
Francis: I beg your pardon! We've had a long walk and we're very tired.
Taxi Driver: Why don't you climb in a tree and have a kip?
    • It's made even funnier because Fred Griffiths apparently improvised that line.
    • Also, when he takes Yoki to a tea party at the Zoological Gardens. And it's played as seriously as you can make a scene like this.
  • Lily getting drunk at a wine-tasting event.
  • Mr. Handy being mistaken for famous diagnostician Sir Theodore at the hospital. He is first described by Matron as "having a certain grandeur", and later on the testy old head of Amalgamated Scrap Iron points out that he "has a face like a relief map of the Himalayas".
    • Also, how unfazed that he is over the entire scenario and leaves the hospital giving Matron and some nurses his business card.
  • The scene with the bickering Trelawneys, especially when Trudy hits Trevor in the head with a vase.
  • The climax where the Helping Hands employees try to clean up an old house of their landlord's. Mr. Handy and Gabe fall down the stairs to the cellar, Mike, Sam, and Francis are sent flying across the room by a burst tap, and when the landlord turns up and announces he's now planning to knock down the house, the Helping Hands employees all agree there's only one thing left to do - "Carry on", regardless - followed by them happily smashing the inside of the house to bits as the screen fades to black.
