Funny / Accidental Apotheosis

• After Altomare we see Latios having a heartfelt moment as he admits to Latias that not all trainers are bad. Only to realize that she's nowhere near him, and he goes and use his sight sharing... only to find that she left Altomare with Ash.
• Meowth buys an old book - which is the Hisuian Pokédex - and switches the book's cover with one from a cheaper book. And then, to be extra sneaky, he swapped the price tags too (making the book cost the same as before). The other two find no problem with that logic.
  • There's also what they decide to do when they find out Ash is a "serious legendary". They decide to worship him... by doing the same exact things they've been doing up until that point, except now they're making mottos based on various legendaries, and they don't attempt to steal his Pokémon either.
• Ash defeats the poachers that captured Tyranitar by ordering Latias to use Headbutt on their crane. Latias doesn't know Headbutt at the time, but that doesn't stop her from ramming into the crane at high speeds. She later learns the proper move since doing it adlib was painful.
• When told that he was being given special accommodations due to being a Pokémon, Ash thinks they're giving him a house.
• How did Gary recognize Ash so quickly? He was wearing Ash's hat and Pikachu wasn't actively attacking him. With that kind of deduction skill, it's no wonder he's destined to become a professor like his grandfather.
• Ho-oh attempts a dramatic flyby above Ash as in canon, only to crash into the ground out of shock of Ash being a Pokémon that he, an ancient Legendary Pokémon, doesn't recognize.
• May's introduction has her ask what kind of Pokémon Ash was and why he was wearing a hat, causing Pikachu to grab Ash's spare hat and shout his name out and leaving Ash with the assumption that she's asking about Pikachu.
• When bringing a colleague up to speed regarding things with Ash following the events of Destiny Deoxys, Oak notes that he has yet to tell Delia she is a grandmother now.
• After Groudon and Kyogre start fighting Ash goes out to try to get them to stop. Of course, since Ash is A) an Arceus, and B) surrounded by Unown... They assume he's their father and flee for their lives.
  • Afterwards, Ash recounting this to Rayquaza causes him to burst out laughing.
• One of the Epistle chapters - this one from one of the Jennys - describes how one of the last Team Magma members tried to get their Ditto to transform into Ash. But not only did it fail, but the Ditto in question ends up having "a bad case of default mode lock" as a result. Arceus clearly takes Their DRM - that is, Their Deity Rights Management - quite seriously, and trying to copy an Original One is subject to Judgement.
• While watching one of May's battle rounds Latias is shocked by the realization that, with all the training she's been through, she's most definitely stronger than her brother. She doesn't take it well.
• Ash attempting to sit on the throne after winning the Tournament in Rota.
• Pikachu's new Noble status almost blinding Lucario.
• Dawn is more amazed about Ash knowing May than him being a legendary Pokemon.
• Dawn's Hisuian Samurott/ Hunter J plan to beat Cynthia's Garchomp if she ever fought her is an ice version of Night Slash.
• Ash and friends manage to completely bluescreen the king and queen Lucario with the announcement the he's Giratina's little brother, Cynthia is Volo's descendent, and Dawn is Akari to the point they had to repeat introductions one at a time.
• Riolu asks Samurott if she had any cool cutting attacks, to which she replied she could cut him off. Cue hilarity.
