Fridge Logic

  • So in all the 65 million years that a sustainable population of T rexes has been living on hollow mountain, what was keeping them from wandering out and making their presence known to humans until the end of the movie?
    • Presumably, this individual is both very, very old, and the Last of His Kind, meaning a sustainable population doesn't really exist there anymore. In the movie, it's also mentioned that the mountain is said to be cursed because people and animals tend to disappear in the area whenever there's a really severe drought, and the swamp at the base of the mountain dries up. This hints that the dinosaur normally feeds on fish or other wildlife in the swamp, and doesn't have a reason to leave the area until the swamp dries out and it's forced to look elsewhere for food.
