While the series usually airs on Tuesdays at 9 PM EST/EDT, this aired at 8 PM (typically the timeslot of The Flash, but the latter was in a spring hiatus). Why is this? It is entirely possible at least one contributing factor is the fact that the same day—April 4th, 2017—the Prison Break revival debuts at 9 PM on FOX, which could potentially draw away ratings, particularly as both shows star Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell.
Also, since part of the plan to restore reality involves arriving before the events of "Fellowship of the Spear" (which originally premiered two weeks prior at 9)...
The Legends we've been following the entire show (and earlier, in the case of Sara, Ray, etc.) are dead. From this point on we'll be watching a bunch of Replacement Goldfish pick up where they left off.
