  • Fridge Brilliance: While very, very awesome, the explosive nature Queen's The Show Must Go On had on Apokolips was pretty silly. Cue Grant Morrison's revelation that The Fourth World, Apokolips, New Genesis, and all, exist on a higher plane of being as platonic ideals, and what we see is just our brains' way of interpreting things. It wasn't the song itself that was playing and destroying Apokolips, it was the ideas and emotions that the song represents that destroyed Apokolips, and that song is simply the easiest way for the readers/writers brains to interpret that particular set of ideals destroying something.
