- By Shogun: An absolutely phenomenal piece of fiction, that took what was available and managed to make a truly epic and heartfelt story within the perimeters of the established universe. This is without a doubt a perfect example of Fan Fiction, it takes what the source material provided and made a complete story that both respects, and adds to, the original story. Yet despite writing within the confines of another author's world, while respecting the original work, this story feels in no way-shape-or-form limited or stifled. I can not give this a higher recommendation, if you are a Mononoke fan, hell if you are a Fan Fiction fan, this is a must read.
- This also may be a bit too informal, but to give you an Idea of how much I loved this story. I started reading this fic at about 10PM, I read fanfiction to help me go to sleep, not only did I get 0 sleep that night, but I read that story from dusk till dawn. Everytime I tried to put the lap top down and go to sleep I just HAD to pick it back up and find out what happened in the next chapter! Needless to say, the next day was long and tiring, but it was totally worth it.
