Set after the events of Order of the Phoenix, Harry is still coming to terms with Sirius' death and the recent prophecy about him being "The Chosen One". Just as he is coming to terms with this, a famous Quidditch coach recruits him to play for England in the upcoming European Quidditch Championship. Harry accepts the offer and has the time of his life. Harry becomes close friends with the England team, practices Quidditch techniques, and performing rigorous training. However, on said team, he meeets a certain one blonde Keeper boy that will change his life forever.

- Adaptational Sexuality:
- Harry is bisexual in this fic, though it takes him a while to figure that out, while in canon Harry only shows attraction to girls.
- Lupin is also bisexual in this story, but in the original books, he only shows attraction to women.
- Closet Key: Harry thought he was straight as he only ever had crushes on girls all his life, but after bonding and eventually kissing Evan, he realizes that he's bisexual.
- Good Is Not Nice: Fowler is a hardass coach who puts the England team through a brutal training schedule, but he does it order for them to give their best performance.
- Hate Sink: Helena Karlsson is a nasty, vile, and vindictive woman with a deeply unpleasant personality. She despises the England team and especially hates Harry in particular. While her taunting and openly wishing bad luck for Harry to fail is awful enough, she shows just how heinous she is by attempting to blackmail Harry by threatening to leak information about him and Evan's kiss Lodge garden.
- Straight Gay: Evan is gay, openly so too, but there's nothing stereotypically campy about him whatsoever. He's simply a stoic, sporty, and introverted guy.
