The Silvaze Royalty AU
is an in-progress Sonic the Hedgehog fic by DarkBlaze14. It is primarily a slice-of-life story about the young princess Blaze's childhood in the Sol Kingdom and her blossoming friendship with Silver, one of the only psychokinetics in the world.
The author has not chosen an official title, but several draft chapters have been uploaded.
This fic includes the following tropes:
- Everyone Is a Super: Everyone in the setting is a -kinetic of some kind, usually divided by kingdom. The Sol Kingdom, though egalitarian, is ruled by pyrokinetics.
- Fantastic Racism: Lord Baxton considers types of kinetics other than his own "impure" and frames the War as a glorious crusade that was won by the Sol Kingdom because their powers were the strongest and their royal bloodline the least dilute. None of which is true.
- Religious Bruiser: All kinesis is a gift from the goddess Kiniti, who watches over her "children" to prevent them from killing each other. The different powers originate from what each recipient needed to survive; for example, people living on cold mountains developed pyrokinesis.
- Superpowerful Genetics: When different types of kinetics breed, the child gets a power related to both of their parents' but different. Many electrokinetics, for example, have one parent that's a pyrokinetic and one that's a geokinetic.
