- Adaptational Badass: Unlike Meili in the original webcomic, this one suffered an Ability Evolution, allowing her to reach great levels of Power and Trick to her ability.
- Always Someone Better: The world of unOrdinary is this by definition. Meili is very aware of this fact and constantly rationalizes most people's actions around her to be based on this. Multiple of her journals mention how levels are important to the people in this world, to the point that their potential becomes their single most important trait.
- Blue Blood: God-Tiers are so rare their families can better be described as noble clans than proper families. Arlo's family, for instance, is so rich and powerful their estate is described as almost castle-like.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: At the Freshmen Tournament, Meili fought both Holden and Zeke, who were a bit stronger than her before her Evolution. After that, she was so much stronger that they didn't even pose a challenge.
- The situation reverses itself when she fights Arlo in the semi-finals. She wasn't even able to touch him before being defeated.
- Didn't Think This Through: When Meili was in middle school, she became friends with a girl named Alicia, a Low-Tier and despite already being a Mid-Tier, she didn't hide the friendship. This caused problems for Alicia, as she was now a target from the students that saw Meili as an equal for "forgetting her place".
- Experienced Protagonist: As a SI, not only Meili already knows a lot of the subjects in class, giving her a clear academical advantage, but she also knows the original plot of unOrdinary. She's also very good at social combat, being able to quickly analyze the behavior of those around her, no matter if they are weaker or stronger.
- Off the Rails: Meili's interferance in Rei's future plans likely ensured he will never become a vigilante, which would completely change the plot of the webcomic. note
- Power-Up: Meili achieves an Ability Evolution, changing her ability from Demon Claws to the more powerful Devil's Hands. Both her Power and Trick stats grew from the change. If before she was likely to have come a high end Elite-Tier/low end High-Tier, she's now likely to become a low end God-Tier by the time she becomes a fully matured adult.
- Worldbuilding: The author, hsum23, is making an effort to give more details to the world of unOrdinary, given that the source material has so little of it.
