- Adaptational Angst Downgrade: Due to being raised by the Nocedas instead of the Dursleys, Harry had a much happier childhood here, despite Manny's death still happening.
- Fix Fic: The tags of the story note that part of the goal of the story is to be one, most obviously keeping Harry out of the horrible environment of the Dursleys.
- Happily Adopted: Harry is much happier with the Nocedas than he would have been with the Dursleys.
- Muggle Born of Mages: In this universe Manny Noceda was a Squib, with a Muggle-born mother and Muggle father.
- Not-So-Imaginary Friend: Minerva notes that Lily had slipped up and mentioned an "Eda" a few times, with Minerva positing that it was the name of an old imaginary friend. Owl House fans all know that Eda is very real.
- What If?: In this universe Harry ends up with the Nocedas instead of the Dursleys, largely due to Minerva's concerns about the latter, Lily having mentioned how much Petunia hated magic.
